Let me first state, the manga is better. I haven't even gotten halfway in the manga and it's much better than this. Review time.
Story - 6 - The story...was a little neglected. There were bits and pieces that were like the original story of the manga but other than that, it was mostly filled with fillers. The anime actually resolves mostly around a character that was made just for the anime. He did appear at all in the manga, so, most of the manga was left out and a lot was added in. It was actually a poor job of substation.
Art - 8 - I
...
liked the art, it had a nice and clean look to it as well as stayed consistent, quality wise. All the characters looks were like how they were in the manga, even the style was like the manga. So they get good points for that. They somehow made the completely new character seem like they could belong to the manga.
Sound - 9 - The opening and ending fit well with the anime and the story. Even if that story was completely made up from the manga. I actually would find myself singing along with the opening. The voices also all suit the personalities and looks of the characters, I have to say that all the voices matched. And the sound effects fit well with the visual effects. So, at least the sound was well thought out.
Character - 9 - Since most of the character traits were from the manga, I have to say that I liked them. Each person was their own and nothing seemed of the norm when it came to characters, except one or two. It rarely showed side characters who appeared more than once in an episode. Most of the characters shown were all of the main or supporting class. The interactions between the characters was genuine and settled well with the mood and plot.
Enjoyment - 7 - Like I said before, the manga is better. So my enjoyment with the anime was a little on the low. I liked watched it at some points and others, it lost me and took me a few days to get back into it. I eventually did get bored with the repetitiveness of the different scenarios. The only time something exciting happened was when Shirogane was involved, and that was often rare. Those events usually happened near the end of the show. Personally...it lost my enjoyment about halfway through.
Overall - 8 - I personally did not like the anime, now that I am finished with it, I am eager to continue the manga to I can know what REALLY happened. So, to those who are fans of the manga, I recommend just ignoring this anime, for it will not be like the manga and will just bore you. To those who have not yet read the manga but are looking to watch the anime, I suggest you forget about the anime and just go read the manga, for it is much better and contains a lot more information than the anime provides.
There is my review. I hope this is helpful to those who are looking to watch this, cause really, I don't want you to waste your time on this when you could spend it on the manga.

Well, I have actually been tryin to watch this back in the summer of last year. And I finished it in one day, so that's nice. Now, onto the review.
I do have to say, the main reason I wanted to watch this show was because it was recommended as a yaoi anime. But in all entirety, it's not really all that yaoish. Yeah, the main characters are the intended couple, but this is more of a story than a yaoi anime. So, even though I was disappointed in that area, it turned out to be a great story all together with amazing characters. I really
...
could not stop watching once I had actually started.
Story - 10 - The story, though somewhat...unoriginal with the post apocalyptic background, turns out to be something different than most in that genre. When I had first started watching, I was a little confused in the beginning, but as the story carried on, it began to make more sense. The mystery of the background of the city and the people unravel with each episode. I really was blown away but the events that occurred and many of the twists and turns the plot seemed to take.
Art - 10 - Though, looking rather common in modern art styles, for some reason, the eyes seem to catch...well, your eye. I have to say that that was what really pulled me into the art. The amount of detailed put into one small part really sold me. And when you take all the other bits, it looks just as stunning. Everything shows effort and focus, even though it was a short series, the artists made EVERY episode count with it's beautiful art and style.
Sound - 10 - The music was always soothing or seemed to fit in with the idea of the show, I always found myself listening to both the opening and ending themes, though I often usually skip those when watching anime. The voices were also well done, I can say for both the English and the Japanese. I had watched halfway through the anime in Japanese, stopped for some unknown reason and when I decided to pick the anime up again, I decided to watch it in English this time around. The actors, in both, put a lot of effort into their acting. Though, there were times when I felt that the English lacked a certain emotion, I have to admit that I felt the same way with the Japanese at times. But overall, it turned out rather nicely.
Character - 10 - Now, since most people think this is yaoi, there is bound to be a Seme and Uke character. Turns out that there is neither. Sure, at first it seems that way, but the two main characters, Nezumi (Rat) and Shion, both showcase their own traits that of neither of these categories. The character development, or rather, reveal-ment for Rat, is stunning and really makes you want to know more, of not only the characters but of the backstory of these characters. Many times during the anime, I often questioned some actions the characters did and later on, after these actions were explained, it either left me satisfied or mind-blown by the reasons. Every little turn in this left me wanting to know more.
Enjoyment - 10 - I have to say, that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though I had watched it for the soul purpose of yaoi, it lacked it with many other animes. But it made up for that disappointment with story and characters. Everything was so drawing, that I couldn't help but be entranced by much of the events that happened. I found myself not caring for the lack of yaoi and just enjoyed the ride of the amazing plot.
Overall, I have to say that this is a fairly good anime and deserves a chance by many. To those who love a good story that can make you laugh and cry, this is highly recommended. And to those few yaoi fans who like maybe a little fluff, this is great for you. It's lovely and very heart-warming, though, be warned, it is also heart-wrenching as well. I have to say, I found myself crying at the end, though, I am a sab for stuff like this too. So my opinion on the cry and sad bits might be over-exaggerated.

When I had first heard about Magi, I was too overly interested and said I would watch it at a later time. But when I couldn't get the anime I wanted working, I decided to give the first episode a shot. I have been stuck ever since. This is truly an amazing anime that really sucks you in and gives wonder to the genre.
Story - 9 - As much as I loved the story, there were times when I didn't quite understand what was going on. It at times seemed a little fast paced for the mind to keep up, and then there were times
...
when it seemed a little too slow for my taste. But then the story picked back up and kept me interested for quite some time. So, yes, the story has it's ups and downs, and I don't think it as all overly original, for dungeons have always been a popular topic for both animes and games recently. But it does have it's creative moments with many of the events that happen within and the abilities that reside there.
Art - 10 - I do have to say, the art was wondrous. The scenery was always breath-taking and never looked out of place. The monster designs were interesting and different at times as well as the characters. No one person looked the same, everyone was unique in their own style. I also loved the different art styles used through-out the anime, had very intense art for important parts and then little chibis for the comedy. It all fit together rather well.
Sound - 10 - The voice actors were stellar, the emotion always present in their voices and acting, you could really feel everything that the actor and character was trying to express. I have to say, without the voices that were in this, I don't think the anime could have been such a hit. They could switch from a light mood and go straight into a darker situation within seconds of the anime. And the music fit well with the focus of the anime, the opening and endings always catchy but symbolic to the anime. The background music has a certain feel to it that often was able to explain many situations that occurred and the sound effects were spot on.
Character - 10 - Like every anime, there were your good characters and your bad characters, yes, even I found some characters that I rather disliked. I could never find myself to like Judal, he just didn't seem right to me to begin with, I personally always found him a little off. But one thing about him, is that I never really get to know much about him. Even though I think his personality was made for use to dislike him, we can help but wonder about who exactly he is. The same can be said about many other characters that appear in this, not everything about them is revealed in this season, which leads more to be said in the next one.
Enjoyment - 9 - Like I said, when I first started watching, I couldn't bring myself to stop. But there were times when I found myself bored and like I was about to fall asleep. Thankfully, these moments were few and far between. Mostly through my experience watching it, I was sucked and always eager to watch the next episode. There was a time when I was around episode 15 and such, and I had to retire for the night, but I did not want to go to sleep. Course, I forced myself to stop and get some rest but the minute I woke up, I went straight back to watching it. The anime is rather addicting and hard to put done at times, but I guess that's what makes a good anime, in a sense.
Overall - 10 - I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent on watching the anime. The only down point I see to this is that I must now await the second season. Thankfully, I've started this anime late in the game and have little time to wait for the second installment that is said to be released in October of this year. I eagerly await this new season and look forward to the tales it is likely to unfold for us. I highly recommend this anime.

I deeply enjoyed this anime, I was so sucked in by the story that I didn't want to stop watching it for very long. I finished it a total of two days, though that might be too much. But sadly, now that I've finished it, I really want to see a second season of it, which is sadly not been annouced of yet. I am told that I should read the manga, but that's where the problem lies, how can I swtich from the anime to the manga.
I might have missed some stuff in the manga that wasn't in the anime and there might
...
be stuff in the anime that might not be the in manga. I have to start over the story for me to understand the story again but from a written propective. The transition is not always the easiest.
But that aside, I will continue on with my review.
Everything gets 10 out of 10 for these reasons.
Story - Because it was so original, yes, I did see some stuff that seemed like the usual but the way the put much of the stuff together is what made it so out there. The fact that Kyoko joined the acting biz to get revenge on her 'star' boyfriend is something that isn't usually seen in animes such as this. And the backstory of it all really catches and sucks you in. I always wanted to learn more about it and therefore I couldn't stop watching till the very end.
Art - Even though it was one of the more plain and gentle styles, the eys and expressions are what take the art to a new level. The enviroment and the characters are just so well expressed that you can enjoy watching the stunning work of the artists involved in the creation of the anime. They also fit well with the theme of the anime and the personalities of the characters. You can see that much though was put into the artwork.
Sound - At time I never had the best quaity of sound but that is not the anime's fault, mainly the fault of the players I was using. But the voices all went well with each other and suited their characters. There were times when I feel that some voices were off, like a certain director but after some time, I found that he was perfect for the personality of such a character. The effort of the actors move me and at times I felt that I was on the verge of tears. Seeing an anime character cry can move someone, but it's the voice that moves me to tears. So, outstanding on sound.
Character - At first, the characters seem a little bland and at time, rediculous. But as the show progress, you could really see the character development with EVERY character, even the minor ones. Personalities change and grow as I got furthur in the anime, I felt like I really connected to the anime, which is a hard feat on its own. I felt like I understood the feelings protrayed and that I could think of what would need to happen to make that situation better, and that is usually what happens. But what makes me moved by the characters is that you want to cheer on the characters that you favor, like the point where Kyoko goes on set with Shou, the fact that she was able to overcome her difficulties makes you believe in her even more.
Enjoyment - I was caught up in the story from start to finish, yes, there were times when I put the anime down but that never lasted more than 10 to 30 minutes, I just couldn't stay away from the story. The only down point I saw in the enjoyment part was the fact that it sometimes felt like it was taking too long to get to a point but then again, there were reasons why and it was understand why it took so long. And again, the ending is rather disappointing because there is nothing to follow up on with it. But that just means I will either have to read the manga, which will give even more detail to the story or just wait patiently for the next installment. So, it leaves you wanting more, that's for sure.
And so, overall, an outstanding 10 to this anime. I just hope they don't make we wait too long for the next installment.

This is by far the only show I have rated full 10s for. I really enjoyed this anime a lot, it was entertaining from beginning to end. I am a little irritated with the ending however, for it feels like their should be more. Guess that means I'll have to go and read the manga ^^ But hey, it was an amazing anime, so I'm sure the manga is just as good. On with my review.
Story - 10 - The story was indepth and had a lot happening within it. But it wasn't too much and had a nice flow to it. It went smoothly
...
and wasn't hurried. All the little fillers had meaning and there was a reason for all of them. The story was also understandable, you knew what was going on and I believe there was never a dull nor confusing moment within the anime. Even the first episode was easy to understand, it explained a lot about the anime and what went on. Truely well thought out it was.
Art - 10 - The art was always eye-catching and the normal art with the advanced animation clashed well. And the expressions were clearly visiable at every moment, it was not hard to tell what was going on during the show. The style used was also very catching, I loved the way it looked and after referring back to the manga, the styles are almost identical. I did not see any changes between drawing and animation, which is a good point to me, for I feel if they do not resemble the manga much, then it is a difficult transition from the anime to the manga and vice versa. But this is not one of those and I am glad I will be able to read the manga with ease.
Sound - 10 - The sound was always spot-on. The music gave a good feel to the anime, at what was happening and the mood of the scene. The openings and endings were also enjoyable and seemed to fit well with the show and the story. I have only watched the dubbed version of this and I have to say, Funimation picked the right people for the characters. I could feel the feeling within the acting and I now always imagine those voices with those characters, even when I am just looking at pictures. The sound effects fit with the style of the anime and were always believable.
Character - 10 - I noticed that they had a little bit of everyone in the main cast, and I like that. It was not just showcasing one certain character, it was showing them all. Yeah, the main focus may have been Barnaby and Kotetsu but you could tell that the other heroes had just as important roles as well. Everyone had a reason for being there and were not just an extra to fill in time. Even the extras had a reason, which is good in my books. And the personalities of them all were perfect, you could really connect with a lot of them and even more, you could enjoy the way they reacted to different stuff.
Enjoyment - 10 - I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was entertaining from beginning to finished. I always wanted to watch more whenever I finished an episode. The only down point was that I had trouble trying to find the dub, I had to stop twice because the episode couldn't be found. Once at episode 14 (couldn't find 15) and again at 24 (couldn't find 25). And really, at those points, you don't want to stop watching. I really hated the fact that I couldn't find the final episode, since episode 24 was such a cliff-hanger. That's another interesting thing with this anime, the cliff-hangers, they were good ones. It made you want to watch more, not annoy you to no end.
Overall - 10 - I state again, this is by far the ONLY anime I have ever given full 10s for, and that is saying something, for I am REALLY picky in what I watch. Again, I enjoyed myself a lot during this experience and am a little sad that it is finished. But that won't stop me from loving the show, I will continue to look for stuff about Tiger&Bunny even now that I am finished.
WARNING - Though, I will warn to those who may not like even slight 'Yaoi-ness', there is a hint at it, you can deffiently sense it between some characters. So, those of the light heart for Guy-Affection, don't watch. It may bring down your watching experience.
That is my review of this amazing show. I hope this helps a lot of you in wanting to watch it ^^

I enjoyed this anime alot. I actually gotten into it because I had read a little bit of the manga in this magezine I looked at. I don't remember which magezine it was nor do I know where it has disappeared to XD But it had been quite a while since I last saw this title. It was by chance that I found it again.
I had only thought it was a manga but it turned out to be an anime as well, so that was a delight. And so, I have watched it and I have finished it, so on to a review of
...
it. ^^
Story - Well, I've always loved fairies and I even am a firm believer that they truely exist, so this anime and story is quite in my area of interest. The story is indept and always keeps you wanting to know more. I've finished it and I still want to watch more XD But the story is a little difficult to comprehend at times and at times seems to be seen at a broader mindset. But it is rather easy to keep up and understand what is going on at the present moment.
Art - I thorughly like the style of the art, it has a uniuqe yet familiar look to it. It's not overly detailed but also detailed enough that it keeps your eyes trained on it. The backgrounds are lush and always a beauty to look at. I love seeing paintings in this cause it just takes my breath away to see the lushness of the art within the art. Though, this is just a little thing that bugs me, don't know if it will anyone else, but I hate being able to see the eyes through the hair, it just drives me insane. But that's just me I think.
Sound - The sound is very simple yet exotic at the same time, it has a gentle sound to it at times and at others a lovely mood and feel. The music goes very well with the anime and it builds up, always letting know when something interesting or important is about to happen. I love that. The voice actors also have a certian quality to them, if you imagine that voice to go with that person, it is bound to be close to what you expect. I also loved hearing familiar voices and coming back here to look them up, realizing that they are in many other animes I have watched subbed. I have to say that the choice of actors for this was very well thought out.
Character - I adore all the characters, they each have a certain role and none are unimportant, even if you think they mind. I thought Paul was just a random extra, but turned out he appeared in later episodes after his debut appearence. There are no random extras in this and that makes it rather interesting, that everyone has a part to play this grand story. And the good characters (even though some of them MIGHT seem bad) have a certain quality to them that makes you find them interesting and enjoy watching them. All in all, the characters ar well thought out and put together in this tale splendidly.
Enjoyment - As I stated before, I may be a little biased with my enjoyment, since I have an interest in the fairy world and like. But keeping it unbiased, it was enjoyable. There are moments where you just can't help but laugh but others that keep you on the edge of your seat. The anime pulls you in and keeps you watching even if you have to stop to do something. I was reluctent to stop when it was time for bed. But right when I got up the next morning, I continued it. It calls up a thrill when watching and keeps you intriged with every little event that happens. But granted, it is a little fast-paced and confusing at the beginning. But as it continues on, it makes sense.
Overall - So overall, I give it a 10 out of 10, it was just so enjoyable and a thrill to watch at even now that it's over, I'm rather disappointed that it is. But it leaves room for more enjoyment with reading the manga ^^ For that has a lot more story, background and little bits that didn't appear in the manga. I will be going to go read that soon.
That is my review of this grand anime that has caught my attention for quite some time. I should also mention that it only took me two days to watch it, for it was THAT addicting. Though, that might just be me ^^ For I love watching anime that much. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this anime as much as I have. I highly reccomend it to any fantasy/romance lovers who like a little silly but also slightly corny side to it.

Well, onto my review for this anime, I really wanted to a review for this anime, I just loved it so much.
But I think I should state how I actually got into this. What revealed the anime to be was a rather funny story. I had been looking for pictures on google for a good red haired guy to use as a character for an RP I was joining. Well, I just happened upon one of Otoya-kun and I had looked up it. I looked up the anime and saw how I knew so many of the voices in it. And so, after watching the
...
first episode, I was totally hooked.
Now, onto the real review.
The story was so...what's the word...umm, mindblowing? Maybe, I can't think up the word. I was so caught up with it that I had ended up watching it in only two days. XD But the story was so interesting and I just couldn't stop. Now that I finished it, I am hyper for the second season and going to go read the manga. Too bad I can't get the games, that would make it even more enjoyable.
The art was so eye-catching, I was truely brought in with it. Though, I do have to admit, it does take a while to get to the two girls look, Haru-chan and Tomo-chan, they had just interesting hair and eye colors that I was a tad disturbed by it at first. But as I continued to watch it I got used to and eventually began to like it. The background is well done and you can tell they did just half-assed, everything was so detailed and clear.
The music was so inviting, it sometimes has a beat you can dance to and the opening/ending/main song '1000% Love', I could just listen to that over and over again. But there were also songs that just felt so peaceful, or sad. You couldn't help but love it all. I also found it rather interesting that they added a few classics, like 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' and 'Amazing Grace', and they were in English! It was so clear and you could clearly hear the words. I was in tears when I heard 'Amazing Grace', the only time I did cry through out the whole anime.
The characters are rather interesting. You want to know more as you watch, and you can help but love all of them. And I dont just mean the main boys, I'm talking about everyone. At least the people who showed up more than once (cept Cacil, he just want to see more of him all the time). I enjoyed the personalties that were show-cased and it made it seem real with it. (Though there were times that they made it seem unreal but that's anime for you). There are even characters that I'm sure everyone could connect with, I know I did with this one character ^^
I enjoyed it so much that I watched it within two days of finding it. I even got my friend into it when I first found it. She still has yet to watch it but I'm sure she'll love it. I am very tempted to watch it over again I enjoyed it so much. But that may have to wait, since I do have school to focus on too XD Being an Otaku and a student is hard.
Overall, I give it a huge 10, I would give it more if I could XD I'm sure anyone who loves music as well as large amount of cute guys would enjoy this. I hope this review helped others to enjoy this anime just as much as I did.

Please note that I'm not that very good at reviews.
I must first state that this is outside my prefered genres of anime, which is quite a feat, since I'm quite picky when it comes to slice-of-life/sports anime.
I actually rather enjoy this. To such an extreme that I would on the edge of my seat while watching, getting shivers and feeling a buzz I usually only get when watching horror/thriller anime. I was hooked right from the beginning, intriged right to the end.
*The story at first is a tad confusing, but after watching Higurashi, I can usually swallow any beginnings before ditching it. But, as it
...
progressed, I found myself caught up with the story, wanting to know more if I could. Even now when I'm finished, I am itchin to go read the manga cause I don't want it to end.
*I found the art just stunning, it had a somewhat unique feel to it and it's rather catching at certain moments. I was always focused on the art and the style and the color, almost everything while watching.
*I liked the music that played, in the openings and the endings as well as during the anime, but, I felt that it overstood most of the story as well as characters.
*I like their personalities a lot and not every person is the same, everyone was different, even though you'd think some where similar, you'd later find out that they were so far from the truth. I enjoyed watching Kuroko, he has such an interesting personality that you just can't help but like him in a way, as well as Kagami and the other Generation of Miracles (the three that actually show up here).
*I enjoyed the anime quite a bit, which is a slight shock, since this is so out of my genre as far as it can get. I was always glued to the screen and would always be annoyed when I had to go to bed or school, sometimes ending up dreaming the anime just cause I loved it so much.
*Overall, it was a rather interesting anime and I highly recommend it. This is something that will keep you hooked and entertained to no end. But, that was one down point, it's unfinished. It may say complete but you can tell that there is much story to be told, but I guess it isn't so bad, since the manga is out there to be read. I just wish that they pick this up again, cause I would to see some more.
Don't get mad at me if it's a bad review, I tried to keep all spoilers out but as detailed as possible. Anyway, I really enjoyed the anime ^^ Hope others would think so as well.

I was actually surprised to find that this speical has no reveiws.
I personally have become quite a Sengoku Basara fan and I enjoy all the episodes, including the episodes.
The interaction between the two rivals, Motochika Chosokabe and Motonari Mori is fierce and Mori always gets to my nerves. Also, the actions of Keiji throughout this speical are very amusing and he makes me laugh no matter what he's doing.
But, the rewatch value of this episode is low to me, I may watch it again if I ever feel the need to watch the epicness that is of the Ogre of the Seas. But, I have
...
rewatched the first season of SB at least three times now, but each time, I've skipped the speical at the end of the disk (I have it on blue-ray) everytime cept that first time I watched it. I didn't even bother to watch it the second I re-watched the anime in Japanese (watched it in English at first)
If you ever plan on watching SB on DVD, I personally recommend the Blue-ray addition, to me, it was cheaper than the original and it was well worth it ^^ I effect of the Blue-Ray really brought out the excellence of that is SB, so if you enjoyed the games and enjoyed the anime, you should give this special a try before you dis it

I've noticed, that as I read the reviews, that a lot of people seemed to dis and look for the faults in this anime. I am still new to the yaoi anime department, but seeing that I am, I thought I should at least give my opinion on this.
As I said, I'm new to Yaoi, and this was a great way to ease me into the themes. It's not overly detailed and somewhat cute in a way. Though, this may not be a good anime for hard-core and people who like yaoi to a major, this is great for those who have just been introduced

to the anime.
Though, I did question why there were only GUYS in this anime. I never saw one girl and obviously, in this an all boy school, everyone has strange interests (though that doesn't bug me entirely). But I did think, since it is an all boy school, strange interests are bound to happen.
The humor in the anime always had me laughing and I chuckled through-out the anime (I owuld have just laughed...but my parents would have then looked at me funny). When I first started watching, I was a tad confused in the beginning but then everyone became Chibis...I have a sorta weakness to chibis so I kinda just squealed upon seeing them.
Again, I state that to yaoi otakus, I agree that this anime may be bad to all of you, but to those girls (or boys) who are just introduced to yaoi and are just easing into likin it, it's a great anime to start.
