this is a very cute anime, about different couples and small snippets from their lives. It has 0 plot and honestly that made me enjoy it even more. The snippets give this sort of intimacy into the couples' lives and we see different kinds of couples. It's sappy and sweet and makes you want some warmth.
I personally enjoyed the song used for this, it made me feel so bittersweet and just nostalgic almost.
The art was simple and clean and the colours used were so warm, so that really made me feel even more bittersweet.
The characters aren't memorable and we only get named 2 anyways. ... The point of the show clearly isn't for plot or character development, just fluff.
I'd reccommend this to anyone, who wants some fluff and just cute snapshots of couples.

This manga is one those diamonds that most never see. It's a deep story that tugs at the heart strings and makes you appreciate some things in your life.
The characters are very interesting though there is only development for the landlady and some for Matsuura. The other characters are explored well and we still feel for them. The author did a great job in making the characters realistic and flawed.
The art was really beautiful and gave a nostalgic feeling which was perfect for this manga. I loved the soft yet sharp art style.
Lots of people wanted it to be longer and I think the ... manga could've been longer but it also left an impression being so short. I think by not explaining everything, it sort of shows how "nothing matters."
Overall a very good manga, one of my favorites now and be ready to cry a bit.

the story revolves akkun, a guy who's a dick to his girlfriend, nontan, just because he doesn't know how to act around her.

as a comedy this anime was pretty funny and i saw it as kinda a satire work, seeing how all the characters were so exaggerated. it was short and sweet, each episode having a new story (usually) and focused on not just nontan and akkun's relationship but two other couples (?). i really wished though, that we got to see some character development. akkun remained emotionally unstable and nontan was too forgiving.

it was a good anime, funny and short, with sweet moments ... but it could have more development. BTW! in case anyone watched this anime and thought that the relationship was something normal IT IS NOT!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS IF SOMEONE IS TREATING U THIS WAY!! it is abusive and creepy.

the second season started off not as strong as the first, with a bigger emphasis in the first few episodes on Shi Mao being violent. But after episode 12 things began to change. Shi Mao and her brother develop a better relationship and we see more of their friends. The plot begins to get so funny and relatable, and the characters are written like you'd expect normal kids to be, except a bit more clueless.
I enjoyed being introduced to the class rep and how sassy she was and seeing the kids be kids.

The music this time around was ... one thing I could never come around to liking, it just was annoying and the first season's OP was much better. Overall I'd rec this to anyone who wants a light hearted, funny and short anime to watch.

this show was so relatable. it was comedic and accurately showed sibling relationships (taking just one huge bite). the characters are teenagers and act, well like teens. there's no extremely deep moments or the kids being wise beyond their years, its just kids being kids and being stupid (basically the same thing). I found myself in tears after each episode because I found it so funny.

the art style was actually something i loved. it was different but it worked. it looked cute and it just added to the whole mood.

the episodes are 3 mins long each so you could watch the entire show in ... an hour. I liked that because then the show didnt drag on and it was like snapshots of their life, building up to a plot. I love how dumb fen is but he tries his best!

overall its a funny, realistic anime. watch it to relax!

i really enjoyed this manga. I read it as it came out in North America so I was able to not binge read and appreciate the plot more.
The story deals with a military force who protect books. For some people this may be ridiculous but to me it was quite realistic (but maybe that's because I enjoy reading a lot). the premise reminded me of Bootleg or Chocolate Underground. I enjoyed how every action in the series had purpose. It wasn't all just that oh we did a thing, it's all good, nothing matters now and it really showed how interconnected the ... plot was from start to end. I liked how the characters were not just all good or evil, the manga showed that it was much more complex than that which is something very realistic.

in terms of characters, i felt they all grew. the manga takes place over the span of 11 years; although if you don't count the flashbacks and initial encounter between the two main characters it then, 6 years. throughout this, we see all the characters grow up and mature, especially Iku and Tezuka. I liked how Dojo, although in love with Iku, didn't mention the past. He treated everyone fairly and although he was physical with her the context made sense (ie for training). Komaki is an interesting character who we don't get to see too much of in terms of growth. I wish we were exposed more to him. Shibazaki is smart, beautiful and cunning. She is my favourite character and she's always in control.

Moving on to plot. I loved the plot and how slow and realistic it was. It showed the complexities of adult relationships and workplace romances. I enjoyed how Dojo and Iku's relationship was more than just romance. they had mutual trust and respect for each other and that really made me ship it more. the manga didnt just focus on romantic relationships but also familial and friendships. it expanded the world and showed us the characters better. the plot was full of action and showed the reality of fighting for what you believe in.

Iku was a very typical shoujo heroine but she moved past that. She was short tempered, atheltic and unfeminine. However she grows to become calm, rational and use her natural talents to assist her. she also works hard and while is optimistic, becomes more realistic later on. She does cry a lot, especially later on and this can be annoying but I liked it. It showed that you can be a badass and emotional, those two arent exclusive.

one thing that did make me :/ was komaki's relationship with Marie. Marie was the age of consent but seeing as komaki was somewhat of a power figure in her life and how she felt indebted to him, it just felt wrong.

Overall i think this manga is very well done and that if you enjoy a realistic romance with lots of action, this is a great manga. I would actually list this as josei rather than shoujo tbh.

The anime had a very good solid plotline: girl gets taken away to the spirit to be married to an ayakashi but refuses to and take control of her destiny. This immediately drew me in. I loved Aoi's attitude and how she was so headstrong. The anime started out really strong, with the art being beautiful, the plot flowing well, the characters being relatable, everything was wonderful.
However after around episode 13, it began to go downhill. I had noticed before that the quality of the art wasn't as nice but the plot itself and the characters were also not portrayed as well. The anime does ... have some romance but the focus is on self development. However we really don't see much in terms of Aoi developing. She becomes a Mary Sue character, solving everyone's problems, never holding grudges, and becoming saintly, a shift from her character in the beginning who was kind but not perfect.
I felt that the plot could have been further developed, there were so many great opportunities to make the characters shine that weren't used sadly.
The ending was also unsatisfying. There is big build-up of a romance that is hinted at being resolved that doesn't ever get to be dealt with. There are some questions left unanswered and I think that that may be done on purpose so viewers will have some incentive to watch the second (if there is one) season.
This anime is wonderful for a feel good anime but be ready for repetitive plot devices and not much conflict. It's simple but after the first half which I found more complex, the second half becomes too simple so it is somewhat of a downgrade.
