A Whirlwind Campus Affair is a great story that focuses on the development of the protagonist Baram Oh.
Baram Oh is a really unique character. She's pretty clumsy, eccentric, empathetic, but is also pretty insecure about some things.
The story contains romance, but it mostly focuses on Baram's acceptance of herself. After she gets degraded as the "homewrecker" she thinks she's not allowed to date anymore but she'll later fall in love and realizes, she is allowed to be happy and the past is the past.

The premise sounded promising. I really like reincarnation stories, especially those involved with Royalty and I like strong female characters so it sounded good, but boy was I disappointed...
The story was filled with cliches. Of course you don't always have a woman who has been a knight so I'll give them points for that, but first of all the romance part was extremely bad. The reason he fell in love with her was because of a brief encounter they had as children and then he kept on loving her like it was the only reason for him to keep going. I'm not really into writing reviews but I've gotta rant about this now.
Sci-Fi and Magic aren't my favourite genres but if it's well made I really enjoy them. But this wasn't well made. The story was okay. The idea to use weapons to use magic was a bit refreshing and to combine it with physics was also relatively good. But always those explanations why something works exactly this way and so on really bored me. Also, I hated the characters. I hated them so much. The protagonist Shiba only cares about his sister and she only cares about him. I didn't want to watch a sci-fi ... |
