First off, take note that I have not seen the entire series at the point of writing the review.
Story: If you haven't seen Code Geass the original, there is really no point in you being on this page, and if you have seen it...it's almost exactly the same.
Art: Average for the time. It is good, probably the best point in the series, but it's average.
Sound: I like the VAs (Voice Actors), and the songs were OK, but nothing really wow-ed me.
Characters: I do say, Lelouche is a very good character, but he becomes predictable, and that kills his only good point - the rest of
...
the characters are seen everywhere else, nothing new, really.
Enjoyment: I gave it a three. It really wasn't entertaining. After seeing the first season, this was like watching it over again. I knew what was going to happen, and then watched it happen. This series is basically Death Note, except replacing the suspense with the occasional sighting of a mecha. Between the two series, there is an innumerable amount of "plot twists". I put the quotes around that term because they stop becoming twists, and become so predictable it seems like that would be the obvious thing to do.
Overall: I would not recommend this show, I remember after finishing Code Geass the first, I wanted to watch more! I wanted more! But I was disappointed...I wanted more Code Geass, not the first season. Overall, the show is HIGHLY overrated, I mean at 10 episodes, the watchers rated it number two out of every single anime out there, behind only the infamous (and highly enjoyable, although some of the other features are often debated about) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. But back to my point, how did a second series, only half-way through, pass not only every single other anime in existence, but also the first series!? People are idiots.
