It started off very well being an anime about actual ninjas with a very captivating fight scenes but it all went downhill after they started introducing mecha and high tech b.s half way through the show, like c'mon why would you change the thing that distinguished the show from other shows,in addition to the horrible change of the plot,I almost had a stroke because of the bad storytelling,it was boring,corny and unbearable.

For the animation and direction,I think that the first four episodes had a very great art and choreography, which was shown in the first fighting scenes (which had actual ninja type shi),after it ... all fell when they changed ninja fights with cgi mecha-fight's that were way too boring

For the premise and plot,it was very average from the beginning where we see an mc that has a dark past that came back and haunted him and his family and "unexpectedly" he failed to protect his loved so he goes on a rampage and hunts the organization that was behind all that,very cliché right? Still, it had some potential to seem like it's an anime version of John wick but the mc is a super ninja,but noooooooooooo they said,they went on and ruined the show with high tech b.s, big , corrupted and evil American corporation that works with the ninja organization, a very stupid plot that can only work with top tier storytelling and epic action and fight scenes,and that's exactly what they avoided, they just crammed the show with below-average cgi fight scenes with childish mecha b.s,that should be enough to ruin the show for good, but they started doing all these corny twists mid show, like whyyyyyyy?

Overall, it's a horrible show with good first episodes. I'm not gonna recommend it if you're looking for good shows about ninjas.
