Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life is one of the sage-is-op anime of all time. The plot is one of every isekai anime I've ever seen before. The main character, Yuji, is also one of the main character of summer 2022 animes. Slimes are cute though.
Yes, there isn't really anything worth mentioning about in this anime at all. The plot's pretty much 1. Die 2. Reincarnate 3. Become sage 4. Weird common sense 5. Cute girls 6. Beat bad organization, yes, just like all the other sage animes ever made. The feeling you'd get when you watch this show would just be the same feeling as
...
when you change the TV channel just to have it play the same news all over again.
But when you really look into the hook of this anime, you would see the tip of the possibilities this genre can offer you. Ahh, yes, he's a sage, but this sage can create his own magic, use big magic, and run out of mana while using his HP to cast instead. He's also, here's the twist, a tamer as well - a job known to be more useless than any job in existence - and that same job would let him tame the only reason I kept watching this show, slimes - also known as the weakest monster in a fantasy world - which would help him in various situations and be very cute throughout the entire show (VAs did a great effing job on this one). There's also the convenient means of transportation, but to prevent spoilers I won't talk much about it.
While changing those part of the world seeds, you might as well add some elements of plot to your story - must've been what the author/director was thinking when they added Yuji's character development to slowly rely more on other people instead of trying to do everything by himself. Well, I still think it's pretty enjoyable though as the side characters that Yuji meets along his adventures are actually very likable even without much back story into them. This is a result of mixing comedic elements at the right timing with the execution of tsukommis by the side characters. The bad organization also played a huge role in being a big pain so that Yuji can save a lot of people and they can support him mentally later in the story. I just think this entire anime is a very smart application of your every-anime plot elemets with the overly mentioned reincarnation genre to create something familiar and easy to follow yet still enjoyable and new.
Also, the opening and ending (especially the ending) are bangers. The fight scenes give naruto-y vibes but there's like fireball every 2 seconds. Pretty fun watch overall. 7/10

Don't take me seriously at all, I'm a weeb.
This anime is one of the best gag anime I've ever seen (as I've never seen gintama, the funniest thing to me was them comedies in the romcom animes). A healer that speaks in funny and a warrior that speaks in tsukkommi, never have I seen a better pair since oreo and milk. The dialogues are packed full of insulting jokes and irony but they does a pretty good job at moving the plot forward (if there's even a plot?). As the arcs end within 1-2 episodes, you get the full start and end within that time,
...
maximizing the enjoyment value of the gag anime as it should be doing. (It also lets you drop the anime within the first 2 episode cuz you might already feel completed?)
I want to talk about the OP and ED as well; total bangers. The OP contained some spoilers about the characters that'll appear, but IMO they did a pretty good job at illustrating Carla's personality and Alvin's role as a tsukkommi machine. ED makes my ear cells happy so it's good, i guess.
Love the VA. Did an amazing job with the emotions and impact. God damn did I feel like I was watching a comedy anime - I mean it is one. Point is everything felt natural and in-character. Enjoyed every single episode (also the post-ed teasers are pretty funny as well, don't skip to the next episode yet).
Do watch it. Please don't drop it. It's wholesome?

I don't even know how to start this, IT"S A BANGER.
I've never even heard about this anime before it aired, it wasn't in my radar at all until some fb posts about the OP got me interested. AND GOOD STUFF I DID STUMBLE ON. I'm probably just an easy prey for them music animes, but man the songs are stuck in my ears. Been a while since we've got some good sounds to vibe to in this industry. (that, or im just holed up in my basement for too long to know)
Let's talk about the plot now. At first it sounds like a reverse isekai
...
reincarnation, like some Korean series plot where they got ancient celebs in the modern world. When you start watching it, however, it really screams out some "OP mc" stuffs, just like my favourite genre. At first it was really 50 50 wheter Kongming know what he's doing, but after a while i could really rest my mind as he shows exactly why he's in FGO. To me, nothing beats being able to just chill and leave everything to a character to make sure nothing goes wrong.
Art is cute and didn't feel rushed.
Characters are likeable and villains are pretty villain-ny.
Enjoyed every single episode. OP, insert, and ED songs slaps.
Loved it.

I wanted to give it a 5, but considering the type of anime it is, I would say it might as well be a 6. As a WN reader I really expected more out of this anime.
It is very clear how bad Shinka no Mi is. The story is basically a cliche "you thought he was useless but actually he is f*cking op" isekai. The art is consistently.... meme-my? The voice acting didn't feel special, but the scripts are all weird anyway so I don't really see how they can make it better. Characters don't really have much depth as well. There's basically nothing about
...
this anime that would stop you from rating it a 1-5.
However, it becomes clear after the first couple episodes that Shinka no Mi is created as a meme anime. The plot is filled with tons of jokes and bs coincidences. Killing a monster 200 level higher than you with your smelly armpit? Marrying a female gorilla because she loves your awful scent? It's as if the anime is a blockchain of bad jokes, and the art style certainly supported that. Since there's nothing serious about this anime anyway, why would you make the art looks serious right?
So how well did this anime do as a meme anime? It did contain a lot of jokes, some were funny (to me, and I laugh to hololive memes) and some were cringe. There was a lot of screaming and meme materials. The plot supported the joke-style of the anime well. If we disregard the lack of frames to make it smooth and the opening&ending which makes literally no sense and looked like a 10$ work (except the songs, those were ok), it was actually a pretty well thought out meme anime that keeps giving us new content to meme to every episode.
I still don't understand why they had to show roses everytime she appears on the screen though.
Also what's the go-kart all about.

I've always been a big fan of tensura, having read a lot of volumes both in novel and manga. Their world building starts small and slowly spreads out to a bigger scope, introducing more characters and relations as the story goes on. There are serious arc and relax arc, so as a slow-life enjoyer I really like this kind of plot.
This season (part) talks solely about Rimuru vs. Clayman and they did give us what we wanted; badass fight scenes with a lot of particles and choreography. The only problem I have would be how slow they progressed the story, as had they cut out
...
some unimportant part and instead focus on the story, we could've maybe got to the middle of the next arc and maybe lay the groundwork for the next season. The conversations did have some awkward moments every now and then, but it did turn out really well.
The animation was great, as well as the sound effects. Very pleased with what they gave us here. Looking forward to the next one.

I didn't even stop grinning once while watching the whole series. Weirdflex I know.
But I mean, this anime is that cringe. Every single character and weird logic which makes 0 sense. Why would you confess to someone with a girlfriend? Why would you, who has a girlfriend, date someone else, and talk to your girlfriend about it? You would let your boyfriend date someone else because she's cute? You would shout in class that you love your girlfriend without caring about everyone else? Things have been weird from start to finish, and I question the mindset of the character every single episode.
So why a 7
...
then? Exactly because it's cringe, I can't predict what will happen next. It's unlike other romantic comedy, where you smile from sweatness of the couples. in this anime you laugh from the crazy decisions the characters make. The situations are so funny I didn't even get to appreciate the fanserive. God dammit.
The art is nice. The voicing is nice. The main characters have personality and development, although they're all cringey and nothing's changed about that. Had a good time watching 12 eps.
You should try watching it, but if you think it's too cringe in the first ep, just know it'll still be cringe in the 12th ep.

Lewd.
Yes, it's fucking lewd, except not in a hentai way. About 70% of this anime is a fanservice scene, but I don't feel that it's excessive at all. Maybe part of the reason is that I'm a horny teenager, but still I feel this anime give us the perfect balance of fanservice and slice of life. Really though , I can't watch this anime with my family around.
Enough about the lewd, this one really hits different. I have enjoyed a few new romcom animes, but this one doesn't really give that much romantic element at all. This anime doesn't really give you a sweet or
...
cute or adorable moments between people who has a crush on each other at all, except for when Sutea-chan appears. I feel like the story focuses more on the development of the characters and how they slowly accept Koushi into the family, and in the past 10 eps we can clearly see some character development from Koushi and Athena and maybe some from Kiriya as well.
And that's the thing, I feel like they did a really good job in conveying the character development of each character. Maybe it's because the problem they have in the first place somewhat revolves around family issues, so by giving us excessive service scenes we got used to it and it finally becomes something like a daily occurances with a family member in the same house (I'm not saying I my older sister's nake body everyday). That might be why I see so much change in the interaction between Koushi and the other characters in the anime.
The art is very nice and the VA did a very good job as well. Enjoyed it every episode.
Ps. I don't even understand half of what I wrote so I promise I'll do better next time.

This was like a fucking bullet, hitting my virgin heart directly, killing me in the process. What the heck was that 20 minutes of married life. Thanks for making me feel bad about being a lonely virgin.
They kissed 3 times and almost did it. Such wow.
Now for the real review, this ep grants us with a continuation to the anime. IMO it is well planned out as a one episode. The art has alwyas been good, although the shy face effect can be too awkward sometimes, but that's also cute. The VA also did a great job capturing the emotions of the characters. Since we
...
all watched 12 eps of tonikawa, we see the character development from our mc pretty well, although there's no development in terms of *that*.
Enjoyed the full episode from the pre-op to the ed. It was fun while it lasted.
*snaps back to reality*

Teaches me the imporance of appearance. The dude literally got arrested for walking together with his daughters.
Very enjoyable experience. Although most of the jokes come from misunderstandings and it can get repetitive, many times it serves as a continuation for the previous joke, so it's good in it's own way.
There's not so many main characters that you wouldn't be able to recognize and each of them has their own specific trait. There's even character development when you look at the friendship aspect of this series.
Most importantly, the art is cute and scary at the same time. I wasn't noticing obvious burnt marks too.
The ost are
...
fun to the level where you can dance to it.
Do watch it if you feel down.
Ps. Sry for my English level (ノ≧ڡ≦)Teehee~!
