I am very dissapointed to read the reviews after watching this movie. The simple fact that viewers cant't differenciate between two movies, even though they are made by the same person, is so shocking to me.

I want to begin with the fact that I fully enjoyed "Weathering with you" even though "Your name" is my favorite movie of all time. Why is that? because I didn't watch the movie because I wanted a continuation or a better telling than Kimi no na wa. I went into watching the movie fully prepared to enjoy and be emersed in a different story.
Even though they ... have the same universe and a cute little cameo, the movies are nothing alike. Yes, the artsyle is outstanding and the telling is just as magical. When the protag was running during the rain, I could phisically the weight on my feet as I imagined he was feeling while running.

I am not looking for the "next big thing", I am only looking for a story to captivate me and to make me feel that life is really worth living to experience such pieces of art, and this movie does it perfectly.

Secondly, I adore how the idea of love is presented in the movie. Pure, growing and displayed, the necessity of sacrifice and endurance, I love all of the faces of love presented in this movie.

Anyone, please do not listen to any reviews that says this is not worth watching because it is not as good as the other one, but rather go watch it with an open heart, no judgement, and I am sure you will be able to experience the beauty of life through this movie.

Really great manga here. Not the usual average and cliche one which im full of.
Smart and witty the characters(making me wish they were my real friends as they care for each other, but also wont let others to make stupid mistakes), their development is real as well as their interior issues which can be helpful for each of us to learn from.
The story is very interesting and truly funny, can be easily seen that the mangaka has a colourful mind.
The art has all the great points, both the comedy parts and the sexual ones are really great and different.
A pleasure to read this manga ... and i truly recommend it.

This anime has something that most other ones lack...and that is humanity...
While I may not be a connoisseur in the anime field, nor a critic, I can appreciate the psychological importance of this work.

The storyline is not outstanding, actually it follows quite a well-known pattern, which I think is substantial for drawing the attention from the action to the psychological conflicts. Rather than being a masterpiece, TG is an improvement by putting emphasis on the feelings, experiences and existential issues of people.

By dividing the humans, there is created a wider point of view which is challenging to understand. The main point, I believe, is to ... make people aware of the importance of understanding each other. Topics such as kindness, faith, equity, justice, the meaning of life are approached only to be destroyed. A hard to take, but a realistic truth when one does not have the privilege to create their egoistic principles, but is forced to think about other lives.
(What I would say that is definitely a weak point is that it could have been longer, seems a little rushed)

I am a fan of this kind of art and the fights did not disappoint, as they were added little by little new elements and new powers for the characters.

This anime made me truthfully question my place in this world and made me want to become better. Not the best, not the strongest, but kinder and more understanding.

Thank you for reading and I highly recommend you watch all the anime. For me it was a big win.
