They're clearly working with a small budget in this show but I have to say that the animation doesn't come across as rushed or sub-par.
The characters are funny and interesting. There's a lot of funny interaction between the characters since they all live together in a hot spring resort. However, there does seem to be quite a few tsundere types though which sometimes gets annoying.
There doesn't seem to be an overall plot to the show so it feels like you're watching a slice of life series.
All in all, the show might be for you if you're big into comedy shows, otherwise, I'd recommend you look

The show is full of slice of life style writing despite being marketed as a mystery sci-fi drama. There's also a lot of fan service which sometimes leaves me giggling but other times seems too unoriginal or forced.
As of 5 episodes, we're nowhere near a conclusion and every episode takes the narrative in a completely different direction, leaving me unsure on whether or not this show is going to answer the questions I had from episode one, let alone the abundance of questions that each consecutive episode creates. However, the show is still enjoyable to consume on a weekly basis since the characters aren't too insufferable ... |
