Rainy Tokyo is my new aesthetic.

Visually stunning but the the same old romantic traces of Shinkai. Don't get me wrong, the movie is great but don't expect something different from the previous movies. The characters are likable but didn't engaged me into the romance as I would like.
Trying figuring out why Mitsuha and Taki appears cause they don't add up to plot at all. Part of me don't want to compare to Kimi no na wa but they don't help.

The animation is smoooooth and loved it how the soundtrack make the scenes more engaging and meaningful.

Loved the way how Shinkai portraited the ... climate changes as a realistic way despite its fantasy.
