I really like the LN and manga, and I assumed the anime would do justice as well. And holy sh*t, the anime studio tried to make people hate this series. Like seriously? Do they hate the author or what? I don't even want to point every blasphemy the anime doing for the series. I'm really mad at how they potrayed Melida. [WARNING: I review this as an anime only watcher then reading LN after eps 6, so this review has a little bit spoiler]
First off, if you're looking for a sad drama and pity party about child soldiers, this show is (probably) not for you. 86 told the story from 2 perspective-- one is the oppressor (Lena) which hold strong sense of justice, but as sheltered as she was, her ideal felt fake, she was very naive and her speech was like as that SJW twitter users that spout justive for opressed's sake.
