This is a really short story (about 160 pages) and its both failed and succeeded on that regard.
The first chapter was one of the best beginning of any manga I have ever read.
The story presented itself in a certain way which turned 180 degrees real fast.
After the real motive of the story discoverd, we got a really dark, grousome and amazing revenge story.
The dark atmosphere and themes with the good and violent art really made it a great and twisted revenge story.
But the main problem I have with this is that it ended too soon, not because it has only 3 chapters, but because the ... story ended in the second one.
In the third and final chapter we get another tone shift but in this time it is an awkward one.
The end of the second chapter ended the dark theme really drastically and in the final chapter it feels like we get an extended epilogue to the story, leaving the revenge aspect of it (which i really enjoyed) not only without a satisfying conclusion, but even with one that ruins the revenge.
In the end, it started as a great story (a solid 9 in my opinion), but an ending which ruined the themes and the revenge aspect that I liked made it a disappointing ending.
But at last, it is a very short read so it is really no big deal.
