As someone with terrible taste in anime I usually watch around 2-3 of these trashy fantasy/isekai anime every season. With these shows 50% of time I lose interest and drop them midway through, 45% of the time I realize it's terrible but still begrudgingly finish it, and 5% of time I get angry after every episode because I know I'll have to wait a week to watch the next. Surprisingly this has fallen into the latter category for me mainly because the MC isn't your generic, room temperature IQ, bitch made, annoying piece of shit that you usually see in this type of anime. Sure
