Well, I think most people will think there's something wrong with me giving Usavich such a high score. But I really did enjoy it XD It IS a pretty original series. [haha]
Evidently, this series REQUIRES suspension of disbelief for one to actually enjoy it. So if one does take the content of the show seriously, it's completely very nonsensical. Basically just don't take anything this show has staidly and you'd enjoy it.
Two rabbits, Kirenenko and Putin, are stuck inside a Soviet prison. Basically it's poking fun at the Soviet Union if you know even a small amount of Communist history. Overall most episodes can be
...
boiled down to this: Putin gets into some harebrained trouble. Kirenenko ignores Putin's problem and reads his sneaker magazine. In some way Putin's trouble pisses Kirenenko off. Kirenenko beats the enemy up. End of story. Now watch how this is reused for the rest of this series! [haha]
Cons:
The are was nice, but there were a lot of reused motion data. [ E.g. Putin imagines getting his head sliced off parts] D: It gets better in the next seasons though. But it was pretty good overall!
The music that plays in the beginning of every episode is beaten to death even in the seasons that follow it. I really hated that; it was catchy before the 10th time it was played.
Pros:
The story itself was pure genius. Epic funny if you didn't get my rant above the con section. owo
It was really hilarious how they exaggerated the double act. And the pure randomness of the characters is just another epic win! [haha]
All in all, I personally thought it was great. Once again, a lot of people take this show too seriously, which isn't the way you're supposed to watch comedies like Usavich. I do highly recommend watching this if you have time to spare or just need something to make you laugh :3

Well, I think I'd say I really liked AD. It's definitely the typical Aki work: Beautiful art, nice plotline, but gradually decreasing quality of work as the chapters go on.
Cons:
For some reason, whenever Aki's manga becomes popular, she either ends it or the quality of her manga goes down. This manga started off great, but after chapter three, you can see that some areas like the background become less and less detailed until much the page is just blank except for a few characters standing there and some flowers. It actually became much worse in
...
chapter 7; even the lines weren't smooth in a few areas [but, during the the time Aki was drawing that chapter, she said there was something wrong with her hand and she couldn't draw as well and she was working on Aruosumente at the same time so you can't really blame her]. In addition, her art just wasn't as dynamic and flamboyant like her other works. And also, her characters' expressions weren't drawn all that well [compared to Aruosumente and Olimpos, whose characters' expressions were very well expressed] There weren't much advancement in the plot around chapter 7 either, since it was pretty much just conversations between Riku and Eiri. That didn't make me really happy since I really wanted to know what's going to happen next. However, I still gave the art an 8 and story a 9 since there are much, much worse manga out there. But, I didn't give the character a full score because the character's personalities aren't exactly that original. I didn't give that low of a score though, because Aki managed to develop her characters' personality more originally later on. Plus, the gaudy "Bird of Paradise" idea was pretty original XD
Pros:
Despite the lack of details, the art is still much better than other manga out there. One example was that her characters were actually proportional most of the time. In addition, when there is a background, it is usually pretty detailed. And yes, all the flowers make everything look so pretty [Aki draws flowers better than most other artists too lol]~ The composition of the art on the pages were pretty nice, though not as well as Hanamatsuri. There were many really pretty and detailed scenes too. And AD plot-wise was pretty good. Aki managed to develop some common archetypes into something original. Plus, the characters have pretty realistic personalities now, after she developed them. And despite the un-advancing chapter 7, the story is getting more and more exciting :3 I can't wait to be able to read chapter 8 now~
Overall, I did find this enjoyable, even though it wasn't as good as other Aki manga. But it's mostly because I was comparing it with Aruosumente, since it's running at the same time as AD. I have to say, I think Aki is putting more effort into Aruosumente rather than AD D: Which makes me sad since AD is just as promising as Aruosumente... Which is kind of why I gave the overall an 8. But if Aki improves AD, I'll definitely change my rating. So despite all the cons, AD was definitely a very enjoyable manga to read! [much better than other manga out there] I recommend it :D

[Forgive me for my messy-ness.. >< My first time writing a review on Myanimelist ;w;]
Here we go!:
Aki did a very, very good job on this series. However, I wouldn't recommend Olimpos to readers who are new to Aki's works.
Cons: Why? This series is extremely confusing to readers who aren't used to Aki's storytelling style. For instance, many readers complained how the plot was confusing and strange. But for other readers, like me, who have had experience reading works of Aki understood it fine. So the only way for one to understand the plot is to either read a lot of Aki/ get used to her
...
style or pay an extraordinary attention to the details. [hint: pay more attention to Apollo and hades' dialogs; they help a lot :D]
Another problem I need to address is "overly girly looking" guys. |||OTL There's also been a lot of complaints from readers saying that the guys are almost indistinguishable between females. I have to agree with this actually, though I really liked their designs... lol
Also, Olimpos need more background in the panels Oo' Even though the character designs are well-drawn, it can't be an excuse for so many empty/white backgrounds ^^'
Pros: The art is awesome-sauce [besides the background and character design problem]. So I have to say, Olimpos is the most detailed and proportionally accurate manga I've ever read. So if you're the type of person who obsesses over art in a manga, this is for you.
Aki did a very good job researching. Most of the mythological and historical information stated are actually accurate. [usually in many manga the author would twist historical information to fit their story] Also, her choice of using Ganymede as a main character is surprising [in a good way] since Ganymede's abduction isn't exactly a popular story...
Overall: Confusing, strange, detailed, beautiful, and a work of art. This can be either a light reading as Aki had suggested, or it can be pretty serious. Just keep in mind that all the scenes and dialogs aren't there for no reason, so pay attention to everything while reading if you want to actually understand the manga.
Thank you for reading and I hope this'll help orz...
