God, I love this manga.
The misunderstanding that starts this whole series really sets you up for how the couple's relationship starts. It's funny, a little awkward, and cute. All the characters were really fun, I love the two main leads for how real they felt, even the side characters were good! They all got a bit of depth that didn't make them seem like fodder to the story yet didn't overtake the main plot (the romance).

Cute manga, the gimmick of the farm housing flying pigs is silly too. The main couple were really sweet and the humor they brought was nice!
My only complaint is the story kinda forgot about the flying pigs existence after the first conflict was over, usually that's fine but if your story has flying pigs as a main plot point...maybe include it more after the first three chapters. Also the extra chapter was weird?? It just didn't feel necessary. In the end though, the manga was cute. Definitely not a must read but if you wanna read a short bl story with a fun twist, I'd recommend ...

Itsuki is the biggest bastard and I love him.
The two main characters really sold me on this manga, their interactions led the whole story and made it much more enjoyable. Yes I know that sounds pretty obvious but trust me..! Itsuki's constant flirting and Hisame's reactions made the whole series amusing and wanting more. Also the times where one of them would be in danger and the other's reaction warmed my heart, whether it be Itsuki's protective fixation for Hisame or Hisame's badly hidden care for Itsuki. If I had to say something critical of the manga, I'd say the lack of closure ...

I read this on a whim and wasn't expecting it to be this great, I now have 4 cavities from how sweet this was and I don't care.
The characters I immediately latched onto because of their (at first glance) contrasting personality and dynamic they share. The 'somber seemingly uncaring one x the bumbling kinda awkward one' is a favorite of mine and the mangaka executes it well. Their interactions always managed to warm my heart and compelled me to deeply care about them. Their character designs and how they were drawn also stood out to me, especially Izumo. Speaking of the art style, it's adorable ...

Let me just say that I loved reading this manga, I at first didn't think I'd love it so much but here we are. Now, I'm not the most seasoned manga reader nor reviewer so bare with me.
I liked the story, even if the whole 'forced to stay together' plot isn't new, the characteristics of it are. The white jewel accessories and there power were interesting, but I can't say much more due to spoilers. The characters were what made me enjoy this so much, the story was nice but the actions of Yoruma and Sayatoki really brought it together. They at first were extremely suspicious ... |
