Don't you just love when you think things go ok and then they just sink down so low?........Don't answer that.

Story: I would have given it a 6 but meh I went with 7 cause of the other 2 seasons.Firstly,Sunrise...do NOT make a movie if you want to, in the end,skip a timeline of 50 years or so.....The biggest problem in this was the after-credits timeline skip which I believe we all could have done well without.It's practically saying to all of us '' Oh well yah...and now every1 is actually dead or damn old almost ready to die and Setsuna and Tieria are only ones ... not affected'' add to that a shiny Setsuna and a blind-old-Marina.......and you can practically see the ''GLOOM'' words written on our faces,especially after we saw the before-credits ending and we all went ''Oh!Hope!...Setsuna leaves but he will come back and...maybe..continue smth..''. i also see alot of people RAGING over the Feldt-Setsuna relationship and I must say my friends.....I feel like shooting Sunrise !^^The girl shows concern,the girl shows love...she freakin cries...the boy...well the boy decides to leave for half a decay and yah..come back when all are dead...................................................''GLOOM'' Thank you again! ^^ Besides that,although the story with the aliens was pretty generic,it had a good introduction and all......until the end when the generic crushed us.But then again,I don't mind a cliche if it's done well so basically the 2 big problems of the storyline are the first 2.If this truly was inspired by some classic sci-fi novels [ some1 on episode discussion mentioned that] then all the more the story ain't that bad.

Art: Well yes...something good.Art didn't change much from the anime and yet you can see the very good quality...I really enjoyed the art.Giving a 10 on this one.

Sound: Soundtrack was pretty dynamic ,especially the battle sequences and tensions,but the OP and END songs....I expected something a little better from the Back Horn and UVERworld which made very good songs in the animes.What didn't disappoint me at all was the song i already had for 1 month or more,which is the IN of Chiaki Ishikawa-Mou Nanimo Kowakunai ,Kowaku wa Nai, very beautiful song and i was curious in what moment they will fit it in.9 for sound.

Character: Ouchies...another reason why Sunrise shouldn't make MOVIE of Gundam 00 with so many characters. On the character part it felt like Sunrise put them all in a blending machine,threw a few more new characters and shake shake shake them until they got a sucky character shake..........And again....and the end of second season and now too...WHY the hell are you tormenting poor Feldt? First Lockon [ original]...now Setsuna.............O_o Sunrise are you sadistic or smth?? What I loved was,as always,Patrick *laughs hard* I just LOVE that guy *thinks of putting him to favorites*Also,I think a Big talk was about that Shaman guy or w/e....I was like..''oh there he goes..what just happened?'' So again...BAD IDEA to make a movie with so many characters, or maybe Sunrise thought they already introduced them enough in the 2 series or so and decied to skip that....hmm....Also it felt like some sacrifices *ahum*Graham*ahum* were.....ridiculous and made without any feel to it.........."GLOOM''.....7 for characters..; ; [ because I still remember the animes]

Enjoyment: i would have given it a 9 if it ENDED BEFORE credits,as movies sometimes do,but for that ending,and for tormenting Feldt .....and for the shiny Setsuna [ any1 noticed the weird Twilight reference *brrr* SHiny edward ...glowing eyes...homege! save me! ] ..so..7!!!

Overall:..7..."GLOOM" ..............I hate you Sunrise *goes into a corner and sulks*

Note that this review is based on the first 2 episodes [ don't start screaming if u feel it's incomplete xD ] It also might contain some spoilers so be careful:

Otome Youkai Zakuro ,an anime about youkai and humans trying to fight together and learn to accept each other....the story might not be unheard of,but I,for one,appreciate more the way a story unfolds than if it's totally new as plot,because what makes a story good is the way characters interact and the ''pace'' of all the action.

Story: For what i saw thus far, a not very slow but not very fast paced plot is ... unfolding.We get to know the main characters at an acceptable pace [like ep 2 started with Zakuro,the main character].What's extremely good in this anime is the character interactions.The plot has alot of humor,and personally, i laughed half of the time or more all throughout the episode.It's also interesting the ''chanting'' of the youkai girls before a battle,i find it beautiful and ''bewitching'' as Zakuro herself says,and somehow seems to transmit a traditional japanese ghost folklore feeling.And from what i have read of the manga,it seemed to me like the manga had less funny moments than the anime,which in this case i didn't enjoy much,because the humor was done very well. 9/10 thus far.

Art: Very beautiful,energetic and fun [ those who say pink is gay have no reason to continue reading this section >.> thank you ] It is also very faithful to the manga art.My opinion is that there is nothing more to add here. 10/10

Sound: Until now,the sound also seems fitting to the feeling of the anime.It's half serious/half energetic [ talking about the opening song].The 2 ending songs are also ok. 9/10

Character: hehe,one of the best parts of this anime.I think that until now i like all the characters very much.Zakuro might seem a typical tsundere style girl,but,we forgive her ...since she's still young and inexperienced in love ^^..plus she certainly has funny moments at some times , most of them when she interacts with Agemaki .
Agemaki Kei on the other hand i think is the true humor-producer in this story....his fear for youkai and his tendency to try and hide it by looking cool on the outside [most of the times] turns every situation into something very hilarious.Add to those reactions a voice actor good enough to take on such a role [ Sakurai Takahiro-sama] and u get the funniest and yet still most bishounen character in the series..[ gotta love Agemaki Kei ]
BonBori and Hoozuki are the deadly-twins..they are adorable [ as is Susukihotaru]...although they might act the same and u confuse them ,they actually complete each other [you will understand if you watch the anime]
Susukihotaru is the quiet sweet type...she's too adorable when she blushes...>.>
Ganryuu is the little boy with the BIG attitude,yet he is also sweet,no wonder the 2 twins enjoy grabbing him and taking him everywhere with them[ he probably will hold a harem when he grows bigger..lmfao..]
Riken is the quiet type,yet he is very kind....hmm..the bigger brother image...a mature guy,also very nice character.
Another funny character is Mamezou....him and Agemaki would make a great comedic duet [ they already do...rofl...] 10/10

This is what i feel thus far for this series,even though it's pretty early to conclude....but for now i think it's enough.

Just finished watching it and I liked it.

Story-7,it's not uncommon,still in the Gundam form- a guy that appears incapable of doing something or common suddenly manages to fight a robot different from the others in order to protect his friends.-Despite that,the story is structurated well,though i still believe 50 minutes isn't enough,especially for the first part,in order to introduce us well to the characters.But for now we do have a presentation to the main character,Rygart Arrow,and a small idea about the other characters.

Art-10,because it is Production I.G. and XEBEC we are talking about,and it looks well for me,as a mecha-fighting anime.The surroundings,canyon and desert ... really seem to bring out that feeling of isolation and arid grounds.

Sound-10- because it is Kokia that does the opening,with another amazing and beautiful song,and Faylan's ending is also nice and more action-like.

Characters-8.It is hard to grasp the characters for now.But i do have a general idea concerning Arrow,Sigyn and Hodr.I like that Arrow is the more realistic,peaceful type.He has accepted his image in the world as a '' un-magic user'' and tries to maintain peace.I am curious about how he will face the problem of ''fighting'' his old friend.He seems rather innocent somehow [which makes him cute*giggles*].It is more than obvious that ,although Sigyn is married,there is something between them [ and not only friendship...i dare to say xD]

Enjoyment-10- it was very dinamic for a first part episode/ova/movie..and things didn't seem to progress too slow...but not too fast either,although it is because of this,that i wanted more than 50 minutes of it.

Overall-10, for a first.I really enjoyed it,as a mecha-action,it didn't let me down at all.But,you will have to watch it to see for yourself.

Although this is ongoing , at 45 chapters read I think it's fair that I write a review at this point in the story .

Story : Although not completely and utterly unheard of [lol ,and what is ,in our days ?! ] it certainly has it's unique points.It takes the story of martial arts to a new level ; one with many epic battles and small details.You will find the story easy to digest ,yet not boring ,mysterious and slowly being formed like a puzzle ,not too fast ,not too slow in development. It also has very good humor sometimes and some romance [my ... perfect combination] 9

Art: well, i can't say anything here except : flawless .A great,clean art ,perfect for martial arts manwa.Err..i don't really know what to say more since I think it's perfect...so 10.

Character: Well this is another nice trait in this manwa.I can guarantee you that these characters are not flat.Each character has something special ,but now i will only focus on the 3 main characters :Woo Han Chun ,Lee Shi Woon , Lee Shiho [ don't ask me why they seem to have the same names...i have no idea cause i don't know corean ]
Woo Han Chun: Well besides he is a total hottie....I think his personality is one of the most complex in this series.In him, a battle of many different feelings is taking place , and you can see that throughout the series,as he ,as an individual , changes with the advancement of the story .I personally love all the sides of his character: the dark, vengeaful ,merciless,but also the kind ,funny ,bit flirtatios part , and especially , the way his kindness and caring towards his disciple ,Lee Shi Woon and Shiho ,grows throughout this story.
Lee Shi Woon : Another character that you will love.This highschool kid grows so much in this series thanks to Woo Han .A cheerful guy ,yet with a sad background , and sad circumstances .He grew in this series so naturally from a character you pity and feel sympathy for to a strong character you just have to support and admire.His change was the most smooth done, i believe.
Lee SHiho: The 'dame' in this series.At first you see her as a femme fatale ,but I think there are also so many sides to her ,that....I will let you discover by reading this great manwa. 10

Enjoyment : Funny ,full of action , a story with a ferm grasp ....I don't see why someone could dislike this.
Overall:...well it's kinda obvious I give it a 10

Let me start with saying this :
I doubt a REVIEW is written when the anime doesn't even have 8 episodes released, but that's what i saw here, and it kinda pissed me off.I'm not denying anyone's opinion , but they should at least be kept AFTER the anime ended ,but since we are almost halfway through , i shall make a small review myself [ must note that the review might/might not change after the anime ended]

Story: Everyone is crying on how there is no plot. I actually see it very well , but the climax hasn't been reached cause even the manga is on-going ... , but the plot is definitely there. But , if you are expecting an I-didn't-expect-that-to-happen-omg plot , Kobato ain't the thing for you , especially not if you were expecting something groundshaking [ this ain't no death note or stuff like that] It's boundaries remain at a shojo-slice of life-magic anime ,but I am sure that since CLAMP did it , the story will definitely have some unexpected turns. I trully believe that.So story deserves 9 on my point.

Art : Art is flawless and i doubt anyone would disagree.If anyone should disagree on the beautiful art provided by CLAMP and MADHouse , then i will only say to them : you don't like cute...then why are you even watching this ? cause it says clearly shojo-magic etc The art is very cute , beautiful and to top it off good . What has MADHouse on the list surely will be good art.Art gets 10.

Sound: I like the OST . I've been humming 'Magic Number' for weeks now.Maaya Sakamoto pwns.

Character: Cute characters , not flat at all. Kobato is absolute cuteness , Yoryogi absolute funnieness.......Fujimoto , the bishie of the series...doubt any girl has to complain about him , since i will say this : he IS developing as a character and personality nicely , just like Kobato .So gets a 9.

Enjoyment: The anime makes you feel all sweet inside .Gives you a nice , friendly ,entertaining feeling.The kind of feeling that makes you wanna say ' I want to see more' . At least , that's how it is for me .I believe the series to be one of the best this year for me.Until now , I have obviously enjoyed it.

That is why I say it again : if you are looking for something groundshaking, OMFG-ish and stuff like that.If you hate pink and sweet stuff...don't watch this .In fact , if you are not a shojo-fantasy-CLAMP fan, don't watch it. Do not misunderstand,Kobato isn't mushy , it's just....cotton candy sweet .

SO...Sengoku BASARA review.Note that this review is ANIME only , as it says , no connection to the games , cause personally I hate when people compare 2 things that have SOMETHING in common as if they should be identical twins. Well no..this anime is BASED on the game , so we should compare them separately.

Story: Not something outta the ordinary , like a big BOMB etc but , heck , it doesn't even need to be that way.It's simple and clean , and still manages to be pure enjoyment , but you'll only understand why ... if you watch it yourself.You probably met these characters in different forms in other media cause, Date Masamune,Sanada Yukimura,Sarutobi Sasuke,Oda Nobunaga etc really DID exist [ except most of them are bishons here ...yep..i'm a girl..:X ] So the story is 8/10 for me . Even if it wasn't something twisted it had the spice that I liked .


Art: well, no flaw here.Production I.G. made it superb.You'll love it.One of the best things about this series [ + eye-candy for fangirls ] 10/10

Sound: Another big 10/10.Sengoku BASARA OST is just EPIC.I'm not talking about what you hear in the background on the anime.You have to listen to RED and BLUE .It will definitely go to your taste.It is a beautiful combination between modern and traditional rhythm plus a lot of orchestral instruments that just sound amazing and beautiful .Some songs like BLAZE ~CRIMSON LOTUS ,mastermind ,ZIPANGU,Heaven's Door ,SHUT UP~GO TO HELL ,Peaceful Days and others don't even need vocals ,that's how nice they sound [ ok except that the main theme songs for characters have one song with just instrumental and the other featuring the character; example: Heaven's Door is an instrumental and Heaven's Door feat Date Masamune is the song with Date's voice in it [ yeah..fangirls candy ] Also some songs on the same notes but in different tonalities or different instruments sound superb and offer a different taste [ ex: that's part of being a hero ]
So basically the OST is an absolute plus.Give it a try , you won't regret it.

Character: Not very deep characters ,but heck , they don't even need to be deep to be cool . Date would get emo if he gets deep.He's just Date , and that makes him cooler than cool :)) Same goes for other characters.The way they interact and the way they are portrayed , cause they are individualized , is enough . 9/10

Enjoyment: I enjoyed this series very much and can't wait for the OVA and season 2 . Some people regard this series as a FAIL, because they try to compare it to the game , but i kinda punch those ppl in the face .This anime is still , as individual , something really good.

Overall: It gets a 10 from me.It's a series to watch when you don't feel like stressing your brain but still be able to watch something good.Simple and good, that's the recipe that describes Sengoku BASARA.

A short yet very entertaining story.
It might seem common : a girl dislikes a guy thinking he's so annoying but eventually falls in love and tries to show it her own way
But it's more to it...the characters and the 'butterfly' effect cover for a 'seemingly' normal story.
Art: waaa...such a nice graphic, you obviously fall for it from the first page

Characters: not many..but that's good,it helps the main evolve as individuals..and they are really fun

Enjoyment: it has humor but also drama and romance...what's not to like?
overall: it's a 10 for me..call me simple-minded...but sometimes that's all a story needs xD

Well..let's see...if not for the plot at least for the awesome art this anime deserves a shot.

Story:...nothing special or outstanding but it was edible ....not very full of cliche-es but like i said nothing special.For 12 episodes i think u can resist cause it's worth a shot.A few turn-of-events but nothing special..although i liked the end..u will understand why...i gave it a 6..for fair

Art:Outstanding and first-class..that's this series strong point..although there were some scenes that were repeated cause the designers were lazy to recreate them....but it is very good and it gets a 10

Sound: pretty decent..nothing special but still pretty good..gets a 7

Character: Well...12 ... episodes don't really help character development so i didn't really get to get close to the characters..but still it was pretty fair.My fave character was Haruki..nop..IS Haruki....and of course that is mainly because Jun Fukuyama does his voice..:X..but i kinda liked the shounen too gets a 6 for fair

Enjoyment: Well..i expected a little more..but..i guess it was ok..8 for enjoyment

Overall: 8...i wanted to give a 7 but i am a sucker for great art and animation with action scenes so i gave it an 8 instead...it's worth a shot..try it out.

I decided to rate it as this...because if there would have been a little more episodes i'm certain it could have gotten not good...but better..much better..

Plot:..not something spectacular..but enough to attract your attention...IF it would have been better developed..3 episodes is just crap...it's like showing us the big candy and then..after they see us drool..they take it away...

Art: It was ok..it could have been better...

Character: Stereotypes ...but it was ok...IF..there would have been time for some development..but because of the lack of episodes...again..it sucked

Enjoyment:God..i could have enjoyed this 3 or 4 times more if there would have been at least 13 episodes...damn..*sigh

Overall:...AGAIN...a good potential....wasted..totally..disappointed

I'll start with my conclusion so i can wrap things up in a sentence.

This anime had the potential to be a good or even really good anime,unfortunately everything was destroyed by the author's poor writing of character and action and the small amount of episodes.

Story: It was meant to be good...but somewhere it got lost...that was mostly because of the fast paced changing scenes.For crying out loud..it was ridiculous how characters just APPEARED in a place without a good reason whatsoever,ok i understand that the story had to go that way and the authors had to bring them in that place but they could have ... done it in a more unlamer way.

Art:I liked the art.Studio deen has nice art.

Sound:Nothing special from my point of view..not bad..but not special either.

Character:Too flat...and because of the small amount of episodes,the writers didn't have time to evolve them

Enjoyment:Well..it was...ok..i have to say that the last 2 episodes were the best..ok..i admit..i'm a sucker for happy endings..

Overall: 7/good....i should have gave it a 6..but..since i managed to watch it till the end..that means it was ok..otherwise i would have given up on it..
