Orange is a stunning story not only about love and high school romance but also about friendship and depression.

This is a manga that touches upon different kinds of love. Sacrificial love, platonic love, unconditional love, overbearing love. All of these come up in the relationships with the MC's.

There are some standard tropes thrown around here and there because it is a high school based shoujo manga but every action is so important. I am trying my best not to spoil anything but there is a strong emphasis on showing the reader how small actions can make a difference to someone.

Overall a touching ... and heartfelt manga that can be enjoyed by all manga readers, not just shoujo fans.

So let's get this out of the way first, yes, the artwork is great. I saw some mangacaps from this and wanted to check it out because I was in the market for some romance. This definitely didn't satisfy that.

All this is is another harem manga where everyone just manipulates the women into thinking, 'hey! sharing men is great and I love this harem situation all of a sudden'. There are only 2 sensible characters in this manga, and both of them leave (which is why they're sensible). The guy is just a manipulative creep, the MC is naive but that's nothing new, and then ... there's just the stereotypical big boobed sex loving wife thrown in there for some sex scenes. It's actually hard to believe this is written by a woman.

If you want a frustrating but nice to look at harem manga, I guess this is for you, if you want something with substance then look elsewhere.
