** Beware, there are some spoilers in here **
Where to start? This is the most chaotic manga I have ever read and fills me with so many emotions I don't even know what to say.
Story (8/10):
Alright look, it may be a chaotic dumpster fire, incestual, family tree bending storyline but once you get past the 'unusual' stuff, it actually turns into a relatively good slice of life story. The interactions between the characters was handled rather well and although the story did follow some obvious and common cliches, it was actually rather good. I did find that throughout the story, there were certain aspects of
...
parts of it that I found infuriating but for the most part, they managed to redeem it further on in the story. I do feel like some of the dramatic points in the story were way too overdramatic which resulted in them going far further than they should have which at times made me feel uncomfortable or annoyed.
Art (10/10):
I don't have much to say for this but the art in the manga is extremely good.
Characters (7/10):
This is one of the parts where I find it the hardest to judge, there were the characters I liked in the story and then you have the characters which just do absolutely everything in their power to piss you off or make you change your mind about them. An example of this is with Alex, at first I liked him as he was just your average idiot who thinks he's good with girls and then gets crushed. But then after that, he all of a sudden starts getting pushy with Rui and then even goes to the point where he's forcing himself onto her - This is the point in the story where I lost all respect for him and he became one of the characters I despised the most. Throughout the story, I find that most of the characters were actually good but then it did introduce some characters which I did hate or I feel like just made everything way too dramatic. The characters overall, had good chemistry and were great when mixed in with the rest of the cast but due to the amount of drama that unfolds during the story, it kind of feels like the characters potentials are wasted or that they were just suddenly removed for the most part from the story.
Extra:
Kengo Tanabe is the worst fucking character to be introduced into this manga. I found he completely fucked the ending and gave birth to the most hated arc in the manga because of his personality and relationship with Hina. Because of him and the reporter, it completely changed the ending of the story from how I feel it should've been
Enjoyment (9/10):
Overall, I enjoyed this title immensely, though I do struggle to get myself to read it again because of the amount of drama that occurs, I found it one of the most enjoyable mangas to read mainly due to the fact that compared to most romance mangas I've read in the past or heard over, it actually dives deeper and goes past high school and provides a lot more story (though chaotic) which I prefer.
Ending (5/10):
The last 6 chapters of this story I found were the most disappointing in the series. After 270 chapters, the last 6 provide a complete 180 degree turn in the relationships between Rui, Hina and Natsuo (hell and maybe even Haruka) - I feel as if these last 6 chapters were completely forced and rushed with no justification for adding it in. After 270 chapters, Rui and Natsuo's relationship was going fine with plans to get married and then just dropping a bombshell on us which results in Rui and Natsuo breaking up and then Natsuo marrying Hina, it makes almost no sense. I personally feel like if they provided us an ending of Rui and Natsuo getting married whilst also living with and taking care of Hina it would've provided a much higher rated and well received ending from the fans. I personally, although the low score, don't actually mind the ending as it does result in Hina, Natsuo, Rui and Haruka living together instead of splitting up so for that part I am glad it is like that.
Overall, it is a relatively good story which I love, however, with all the cliches, overly dramatic parts, characters who just make things worse and the most irritating ending possible - it could just make it hard for most people to get through with all these. Mainly in relation to Hina's parts of the story as I found that is when most of the worst drama unfolds. Unfortunately, I am hesitant to read this again as the amount of drama goes on makes me feel like I'm going to enter another depression reading it again
