Story 6/10
The story is a bit slow to get the main plot into motion and generally goes through the motions of a Japanese romcom when it's not doing anything related to the game but is generally decent in every other aspect.

Nothing groundbreaking here but the rendered 3DCGI is a step down from the game even on the lowest settings, opting to use a cell shaded version of the existing models which just comes off as looking really weird and does nothing to help it blend into the 2DCGI. It's too damn short and too damn underwhelming to do the games justice. It strays from the games in a way that should work but it wastes it time not developing any of the characters or the world they live in, basically assuming you already knew who they are and what makes them tick. If the Warcraft movie is any indicator, alienating new audiences who have never played the games is a TERRIBLE idea.
Plus the Ultra Dimension mini-arc was terrible and super rushed like they realized "oh shit, we were supposed to give this show an actual plot and now it's nearly too late!". Really goes ...

It's too damn short and too damn mediocre to do the games justice. Rockman.exe/Mega Man NT Warrior took its time to develop all of the side characters and villains and added new and interesting plotlines and reveled in the fact that it was mostly a lighter adaptation because it knew that simply trying to one for one translate a video game to a non-interactive medium can't work very well but at the same time it never strayed too far from the source material. It may not have been the best of media based on video games but it was entertaining at the very least and
