===Animation===
It's very good, but it doesn't seem to be as good as the animation in the TV series. A bit of a disappointment. As for the fanservice/ecchi that this was supposed to be about, is kinda disappointing as well. It wasn't up to the standard that it should have been at.
===Sound===
Both the OP and ED are the same as in the series, so can't complain about anything here since they were both very good songs. Background music was average, and seiyuu's did a good job on this OVA.
===Story===
Is there even a story to this? Not really. It doesn't even revolve around Shana, but about some
...
new girl that I've never seen before called "Oga" and her classmates. This is a disappointment, but you can't expect too much from an OVA aimed at fanservice-lovers. I guess it's the comedy that counts a bit. However it wasn't anything spectacular, but it made me laugh a few times.
===Characters===
Some characters appear in this OVA that I've never seen before in the series and the specials. They are just Shana's classmates from school. The only characters that I recognised from the series were Shana, Yuuji, Kazumi. All three of them got a fairly decent airing time considering the fact that the plot wasn't even about them. Margery, Alastor and Wilhelmina got very little airing time. A few seconds, maybe with the exception of Margery who got like a whole minute (lol). And some had absolutely nothing to do there, like Wilhelmina.
===Enjoyment===
Overall this is a disappointment. To tell you the truth I wasn't expecting anything special, but this was just below what I was expecting. If at least the fanservice/ecchi and comedy was any good, but neither one of those factors was good enough to improve my overall impression on this. I guess it's the "Shana" trademark that doesn't allow me to give this an even lower rating...

===Foreword===
As you might know, this is a spin-off from Di Gi Charat, which I have never seen or read about in any great detail, so there is some stuff on which I just can't comment or write enough detail about.
===Animation===
Not the strong point. The colours are simple, without any gradients used. The backgrounds are simple as well, but nicely drawn. The character designs are quite simple too, but they are cute. The notable thing is that as soon as there many characters on scene, like crowds, they are just drawn plain white with black lines. Something that doesn't actually ruin the animation in any way,
...
or doesn't annoy the person watching it. Running animation is I think one of the better points. Sometimes there is a chibi scene thrown in, but they are done fairly well and are not annoying in any way. Overall the animation is poor, but I don't think it's a factor that affects the overall rating by much, but I was expecting something more complex than this.
===Sound===
This special features quite a nice OP and ED, and fairly good background music, which is a bit on the simple side. There is also a French song in the second episode, which is quite good as well.
===Story===
Since this is only two episodes long you can't expect anything complicated. It's a simple story about a girl who meets a boy. An unexpected encounter which starts off everything, and a misunderstanding as well to create some drama. It's a rather light and sweet story. Considering the fact that they had only two episodes I think that it was done quite well, with a good conclusion.
===Characters===
This is a section on which I won't be able to comment too much since I don't know what the characters were like in the original Di Gi Charat. Overall they were good. Though this special lacks characters, but what would you expect from a two minute special? We barely get to know the names of four characters, and the rest is there just for comic relief. Overall the characters are good, and some are cute as well, like Puchiko. :)
===Enjoyment===
I enjoyed watching this, since it was nice to take a break from all the other serious anime around which fills my mind with questions and useless answers, and also had a laugh over some light comedy which fits in well. However don't watch this if you want to see something serious. Watch this if you want to take a break and need something light, then you'll see the hidden beauty of this...

===Animation===
Looking back at the original Green Green this is quite a disappointment. The character designs have stayed the same, most of the time, but the overall quality of the animation has dropped. They used very simple backgrounds and plain colours. Though this isn't all that bad. It's quite nice to watch since it doesn't strain your eyesight in any way.
===Sound===
The stronger point of this OVA. Fairly good OP and ED, and non-existent background music. However it's nothing to boast about compared to the music used in the original.
===Story===
Is there an actual story to this? Don't think so. It's basically turned around; the boys visit the
...
girls this time. But since this is only one 26 minute OVA you can't expect too much. The story overall doesn't add anything.
===Characters===
Most of the characters are the same as in the original. Some are changed, more like brought down to earth. Of course, less characters get screen time, but this is no surprise hence the length. As for character development, null. Furthermore nearly all of the characters seem rather dull and emotionless. Quite poor overall...
===Enjoyment===
This was quite bad. It should be distributed as a freebie, even though I doubt that someone would want to get this. It adds nothing to the whole Green Green experience.
On a side note, I feel bad writing such a short review, however there really isn't much to write about.

===Foreword===
In this review I might be quite often using the term “tsundere”, which simply stands for a personality which is initially aggressive and then loving. For more information see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsundere.
Xinil, please don’t kill me for posting a hyperlink…
===Animation===
I don’t really like commenting on animation, since my artistic skills/thinking are very close to non existent. In my opinion the animation was good. It was nothing special. The backgrounds were simple, but the character designs were nice, and stayed consistent throughout the whole show. There also weren’t any drops in the quality of the animation. During the show there were bits where the characters were shown in
...
different costumes, and sometimes barely with any costumes on. However this is excusable, since this anime was based on a hentai game, therefore it is aimed at a male audience. Though I wouldn’t say that girls should stay away from this. To tell you the truth there was barely, if any, fan service or ecchi in the series at all, but as mentioned before those scenes did sort of even out this fact. If I could give this a more precise rating, then it would be 7.5.
===Sound===
The sound was all right. The opening tune was the more notable one. It’s quite a catchy tune, at least the first thirty seconds of it. The ending song is pretty good as well, however it is on the soft side which I didn’t really like since the whole theme of the anime is quite cheerful just like the OP. On the other hand this does have a “relaxing” effect to it. Background music was fine, but nothing special. The voice acting seemed to be done relatively well.
===Story===
The story isn’t the strong point of this anime. It starts off with the lead female character Sunao Konoe who wants to start a drama club in her new school. However she is stopped by Erika Kiriya, the student council president. She sets up all sorts of challenges for Sunao, which makes the story start off in a cheerful and funny way. Then it starts developing some of the supporting characters, which I think was a waste of time since they didn’t really play any major part in the plot. And then the last few episodes suddenly jump to romance between Sunao and her childhood friend Leo. The romance isn’t bad, however the fact that the story jumps in this way just wastes time. Half of it is basically wasted on useless character development. They should have just stuck with the core plot and carried on with that, after all, 12 episodes is too little for developing many characters.
===Characters===
You love tsundere? Then you will love this show! All female characters, except for two or three, are tsundere. Originally this was supposed to be the strong selling point of the game, where this was quite notable. However I’m unsure whether it will have the same effect for the anime as well. The female characters aren’t bad, but their tsundere personalities aren’t done too well. It does come out quite strongly, like heavy quarrelling between certain characters, like the Coconut and Crab. As for character development, there are only a few characters that get developed fairly well and others don’t get any development at all. There are some male characters as well, including the main male lead Leo. Again, he is your average male character. He’s the only male character who gets fully involved in the story, the rest is there just for comedy and to fuel the story at times. Nothing special, apart from a curious fact that he is tsundere as well. How shocking. The other male characters are his friends, one of them who is a sensible guy and another who is a pervert. Then you have a scary principal with scars on his chest and a sexy teacher with a parrot that can speak Japanese fluently (and play the drums). Quite a “typical” cast, nothing surprising on this side.
===Enjoyment===
I had quite a lot of fun watching this. It was quite a welcoming change to see so many tsundere characters in one series. The main objective of this anime was comedy (with some light drama here and there) and the never ending quarrelling between the characters. And I think that it was accomplished well. I can definitely see myself watching this again someday…

===Animation===
Quite nice and steady animation. The character designs are a bit on the simplistic side, but they are nice to watch. Funny scenes are drawn very well, and there are quite a few of them. You will find a lot of ecchi (especially panty shots and the "top part") in this series, but not just light stuff. In my honest opinion this series does touch the border of hentai with some scenes...
===Sound===
Now this is something that raises the overall rating of the series by quite a fair margin. The opening tune is average, but the ending done by YURIA is something that makes me want
...
to learn how to play an electric guitar. The tune is really catchy and the vocals are superb; as expect of YURIA... Another praise goes to the background music, which has especially nice piano pieces.
===Story===
An aspect on which I can't write too much about. It was poor; A girl suddenly appears and just doesn't stop harassing the main male character. I won't give any spoilers, but the storyline is explained very briefly and poorly, and the ending is rushed. Side stories kind of balance this fact, since they were fairly good, but not complex enough to reveal all aspects of the characters.
===Characters===
Since this is a shounen anime you can expect quite a few (cute) female characters, which this anime successfully delivers. Each of them is different. Some girls are normal, one is tsundere, another is very shy and then you have the weird ones as well. Oh, and we can't forget the teacher with a large chest. As you can see, this is quite a typical aspect of this kind of genre. Most of the female characters have their own side stories, with the main male character of course, which give us an inside into their life and personality, but none of them are developed enough (perhaps playing the game would help here).
Now onto the male characters; There are quite a few of them. The main male character is the most important one of course. He's a typical "good and nice" guy that you'll find in most harem animes. Now, all the remaining characters are simply ugly perverts as described by the female characters. They are there to provide entertainment, and they do it well. It all makes me sometimes wonder: "What is this main character doing in a school filled with pervs and rejects. He doesn't even fit there at all?!"
===Enjoyment===
As I mentioned before this series does contain some good comedy, even though some scenes can be questionable (and some take it too far). It was a good watch, but it's not the weak core plot that makes it good. It's the characters and situations that they get into that count. To sum all this up, rewatching the whole series just for the plot would be a waste of time, but as for the rest I wouldn't have any objections.

===Animation===
Toei did a pretty good job with the animation for this series. It isn't anything amazing, but it does have it's own beauty. Character designs are very nice and rather consistent, with some chibi scenes thrown in. Running scenes are done quite well too. The backgrounds are quite simple, but nicely drawn with pastel which adds a special "touch" to this series.
===Sound===
Sound was one of the stronger points of this series. A nice OP and ED, with quite catchy melodies. In addition, very nice background music was used. I cannot comment too much on how well seiyuu-s did they job, but I think that it
...
was good.
===Story===
The storyline is pretty simple. Two sisters living alone in an old apartment, with their mother dead and a father that just disappeared from everyone's sight. There is no core plot, it's done in an episodic way which I think is a bit of a pity since it could have focused more on something specific. However the main theme was the relationship between all the characters. It could have used more episodes to develop the story a bit more, since we aren't given too much information on all the other characters. Myself I didn't like the occasional cheesy scenes. Not sure why, but I just didn't find them to fit well into the overall image of the series. Some light comedy was thrown in here and there just to relieve the usual drama tension. You might also want to have a tissue ready when watching this. The last episode in particular is a bit touching.
===Characters===
Since this series is only ten episodes long, there isn't much time to develop any other characters except for the two sisters. You could also say that Asu, the younger sister, can be classified as a "moe" character. She is cute (you can't deny it), full stop. Overall there isn't a big number of characters. You have the two sisters, the apartment owner, the two rich sisters and the Yamada sister's two neighbours which in overall makes seven characters. Some of them appear just once or twice through the series, but some are brought into the plot more often, but their are mainly used just to fuel the sister's story. However each of the characters are likeable, since they are all different in their own way.
===Enjoyment===
I enjoyed watching this. It's nice to watch sometimes a series that doesn't revolve around a core plot, but wanders carelessly. It's easy to enjoy watching this, because you don't have to strain your brain to start thinking over some really difficult issues that were brought up. The last episode was in my opinion the best, since it did get a bit touching and that's what I really like. However I can't see myself watching this again, maybe only the last episode.
