i was left wanting the actual and explicit "i love you, fool" from Ataru, but also a kiss could've mad eme cry even harder at that beautiful last embracing scene! the final message behind Ataru's stubborn and flat-out refussal to put his feelings into words was surprisingly great. he stood by his personal philosophy that those words were useless and meaningless and i personally believe that after this saga (and i might be wrong but i'm sure this was confirmed in a peek at their married future in another ep) Ataru will use his actions to show Lum what his feelings are and continue
