Giji Harem (Anime) add
Giji Harem is honestly such a refreshing romcom. It doesn’t just throw around the usual tropes; it plays with them in a really clever way. Rin, the main girl, is the soul of the show. Her whole deal of pretending to be different "harem" characters to entertain Eiji is both hilarious and heartfelt. You can see how much she enjoys it, but also how much she genuinely cares about him. And Eiji, while being the classic clueless guy, starts to notice the real Rin behind all her performances. Their dynamic is what keeps you hooked— both the comedy and the underlying sweetness.

The voice acting really ...

Hidan no Aria (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Hidan no Aria failed to live up to its potential. The series struggled to find the right balance between its ecchi/fanservice elements and the more serious aspects of its story.

On the positive side, the action sequences were generally well-animated and enjoyable to watch. The varied array of weaponry and fighting styles employed by the characters added some variety to the combat scenes. However, these exciting moments were often undercut by the show's overreliance on gratuitous fanservice and sexual humor that felt tonally jarring and out of place.

The characterization was also hit-or-miss. While some characters like Kinji had interesting backstories and arcs, many of the supporting ...

Black Bullet (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
"Black Bullet" is an anime that evokes mixed feelings as I watch it. The story's premise, set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is threatened by the Gastrea virus, is intriguing and sets the stage for intense action and suspense. Rentaro Satomi's character is compelling, driven by a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect those around him.

However, the anime also delves into darker themes such as discrimination and loss, which can be emotionally taxing. The relationship between Rentaro and Enju, while heartwarming, also highlights the harsh realities of their world and the sacrifices they must make to survive.

Visually, "Black Bullet" is well-executed, ...

Charlotte (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
One of the coolest things about "Charlotte" is its characters. Yuu starts off as kind of a selfish dude, but he goes through major growth as he learns about the consequences of his actions and how his powers affect others. Nao, on the flip side, is this super strong and determined chick who's always pushing Yuu to use his powers for good.

The feels in "Charlotte" are off the charts. It dives deep into themes of loss, regret, and redemption, hitting you right in the feels. The relationships between the characters are complex and deep, adding layers to the story.

And let's not forget the sick animation ...

When the first season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ended, viewers were left with more questions than answers about the dark mysteries plaguing the village of Hinamizawa. Thankfully, the 2007 sequel series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai picks up right where the psychological horror left off, providing a riveting and unrelentingly bleak continuation that cements Higurashi as one of the most disturbingly effective thrillers in anime.

From the moment Kai begins, it's clear the writers have no intention of letting up on the suffocating sense of dread and escalating brutality that made the first season so gripping. New arcs like Meakashi-hen start off lulling ...

Preliminary (65/? chp)
Hello everyone! I want to share my essay-like review about how "The Dangers in My Heart" uses its characters' personal growth and emotional vulnerability to offer readers insights into the human experience.

Synopsis:

Ichikawa Kyotaro is a socially awkward and introverted high school student with an overactive imagination. He constantly fantasizes about committing the perfect crime, making his daily interactions with others quite stressful due to his fear of being discovered. On the other hand, Anna Yamada, his all-drains-refusecrassmate, is a popular, cheerful, and seemingly perfect girl who draws the attention of everyone around her for her looks and charm. As they spend more time together, both ...

Hikigaya rejected Yui because she was so called 'NICE GIRL'.
If you try to memorize, then you will remember that Hikki said that he hate nice girls because niceness comes from pretending and from hiding their true self. Yukino already warned Yui in the first episode of season 1 that she always excessively worries about what others think. If you notice, Hikigaya and Yukinoshita both tried to change their personalities but Yui never tried. Yui fans always say that Yui was supportive but Yukino was not, this fact itself is the reason of rejection. Yui was afraid to say something against Hikki. She was always silent ...

Greetings to everyone :) I just finished the series and I would like to enlighten the subject a little bit for those who have a question mark in their minds by expressing my own humble opinions. I would like to point out that my comment contains spoilers for those who still haven't finished the anime.

First of all, I think those who support the relationship between Yui and Hikki completely misunderstand the event. It was thought that Yukino needed Hikki and Hikki needed Yui, but in my opinion, this is a completely wrong determination. Don't get me wrong, Yui is a character I like a lot, ...

First of all, this anime has the feel of a normal slice-of-life anime with a cheerful and clean story, but that's not going to happen. In the first episode, it felt like Re:Zero or Higurashi, but this anime was different from them. As the plot progresses, new information is added and the perspectives of the events change, it turns into an anime full of negative emotions, regret, despair, desire and sadness.

It doesn't end there, though, and the anime blew my mind with its many hard twists and turns. The suspense elements were very well done, the eeriness and silence of some of the scenes were ...
