ok let's start with a quick nice summary:
violet evergarden follows a girl named violet as she tries to learn about how to express some emotions and finding out what love is. her inability to express and understand emotions, comes from her upbringing as a military child.

Animation:
I feel like amazing animation should just be expected from kyoto animations ,and they ,never fail to make me proud of anime and amaze me ,more and more and more. the also animation also fits the calm and quite yet emotional and intense and It's just plain beautiful.
Character:
Violet is a character that is hard to relate to for a normal person, and while people might not like it for that ,the story isn't about understanding violet ,it is about how she interacts with others and while you might not relate with violet ,you will relate to the people she meets ,because we have all have probably lost something or someone like a mother or a child or a friend or have a family member that is destroying there life. and when you see violet finally feeling sad and crying ,It's bitter sweet.
Sound:
The music is simple and beautiful and kind and It's nice ,that is the only way a can tell what it feels like ,and not only is the music beautiful ,so is the voice acting ,I watched the japanese and english version, And I would say I loved both very much.
Story:
The story is simple and unique at the same time ,The story really does make you feel bad for the characters that have lost something in a powerful way and the simple story really gives ,it it's calm atmosphere and I like those kind of shows and books.
Enjoyment:
Now there will be some points where you get bored but the second half is amazing and ,"OH MY GOD AM I SIMPING FOR LEON". But yeah all jokes aside and my personal fantasies. I enjoyed it ,and I think you will too ,I think nut yeah.
Overall:
I feel like the only way I can tell how I fell about this story is,
"nice".
