I was hesitant to write a review for this series of one-shot because no one really... appreciates (or likes) my reviews. Ha-ha. Oh well, here goes nothing. Haters gonna hate.

Heads up-
The stories aren't exactly 'bitter' as referred to in the title. Some may cause you to be a little teary but they aren't too sad.

Story 1: Butterfly Cloud
The first story was the most heart wrenching one out of the six and because of this it stood out. This story, in my opinion, also had a great story line that was refreshing compared to the typical shoujo manga.
The characters in this story change tremendously and so ... does their individual feeling for one another. (Almost cried in this one)

Story 2: Racing Queen, by IZUMI Kaneyoshi
This was my least favourite story out of the 6. At times it was confusing to follow the story and the characters transformation to who they really are go from 0 to extreme and they were annoying at times. I also wasn't fond of the art. However, it is still worth the read.

Story 3: English Garden, by SAKURAKOUJI Kanoko
I really enjoyed this story. At first I found it a little confusing however by the end of the story everything was crystal clear. The manga, I found, was a little predictable but all in all very cute. I loved the main girl characters attitude and progression throughout the story in understanding her feelings towards other characters. (Almost cried in this one)

Story 4: Pure White Anniversary, by AYASE Riu:
Cute but predictable. The love between two people that were the exact opposite was sweet and adorable. The art wasn't too shabby but sadly, no hot bishies... However, I did find this manga funny.

Story 5: The Coffee Shop that Ends Unrequited Love, by ADACHI Keiko
This story is about a girl called Rui and one thing that stands out about her is that she is always late. But when she met Shiyouta she fell in love with him and because of this she tries not to be late anymore...
I thought this story was too cute! The art was decent and the story line wasn't that predictable. I think it was one of my favourites. What made me love this manga was that I thought the character development of the main couple was just right. It was too slow and boring and it wasn't too extreme.

Story 6: Great Waiters?, by WASHIO Mie
Enjoyable. Sweet. Funny. Bishies. Cute. Art = Nice. And I found the ending contained a little twist that I found really touching and made me love it even more.

But overall, all one-shots are recommended with and I give it two thumbs up!

I really enjoyed this one-shot. It was simple yet cute and was pretty hilarious.

Story:
Sakamoto Riku find the initials "Y.N" engraved on her desk along with a love confession. She thinks it is Yoshiki Nakao, a very popular boy in her school. But is she right? Who really is her secret admirer?

Art: The art was clear but I didn't think the characters were.... good looking.

Characters: Each character had their own personality. All the characters are quite funny thoughout the manga.

It's a pretty funny one-shot, it's cute and recommended. I wish there were more mangas like this.

This manga is one of the most sweetest and heartwarming shoujo mangas I have ever read. A friend recommended this manga to me and I was very hesitant to read it but now that I have, I have no regrets.

At first, I thought it was just like any other cliche shoujo manga were the girl meets the boy and they eventually fall in love, but I was definetly proved wrong.

Story: 10/10
This story is about a young girl called Asuka who falls in love with Masami who is actually deaf. The manga follows their ups and downs in their new found love. The ... story is unique and wonderfully beautiful.

Art: 10/10
The art was fantastic and just made me love the manga even more.

Characters: 10/10
The character development was very well progressed in such a short time and the way their love blossemed was just... so beautiful! *cries*. I really did connect with the characters thoughout the story.

Overall: 10/10
I enjoyed this manga and immediantly added it to my favourites. I wish it was a little longer but other than that there is nothing else to complain about. I did cry in almost every chapter especially at the end.
This manga is a definite read for all shoujo lovers :)

I was excited to find another one shot similar to others I've read recently.After reading 'I Am A Piano' and a few more, I had high expectations for this, however I was let down. I didn't find this manga that enjoyable. In fact it was quite random and in my opinion a little creepy, but still quite adorable.

6 pages. Only 6 pages that will barely take you 2 minutes to read. Even though I thought it was creepy and didn't like it that much, the story was unique.

However you might disagree with me so read it because I acutally recomemd it.

Most one shots are known to not have a developed or 'deep' stroy, the characters mostly never connect to the reader and the romance/drama etc: is unrealistic, but in less than 11 pages this one shot gives you a 'full' feeling.

The story and way the manga was written was definetly unexpected and when reading I was extremely confused, but after examining the story ( and reading it another 3 times) I finally understood it.
The art was very ... good and the author, Mihara Mitsukazu, portrayed the characters well and developed them very well thoughout the story in a very short time.

In a way the story is sad and I wish it was just a little longer to know a little more.
I can't wait to read other magas similar and it is definelty recomemded.

Before writing this review I read all the forums and disscussion topics about this manga, and I don't agree with all of them but some are very true.

Firstly, the art was quite terrible and even though there were different one shots, all the characters looked the same.

Also, I agree with other readers when they say the stories were hard to follow. It was as if pages were missing and characters were jumping from one emotion to the next in a couple of seconds.

My favourite out of the 4 was definetly the first one, I found the rest of the one shots even harder ... to follow and they also had a poor story lines.

I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend this manga.

Kaori-chan Himitsu is a pretty cute shoujo manga.

Story 6/10:
Kaori has all these fantisies about the guy she likes. ( Dont we all) She writes down her all her cliche school romance scenes in her diary. After Kaori drops her diary a girl called Mayuki picks it up and reads it.

I found the art suprisingly good so I give it 9/10.

The characters were alright. Some of the characters developed little by little in terms of trust and friendship. (Kaori and Mayuki) But unlike other similar manga's I didn't connect with the characters.

Overall 7/10
Overall it wasn't bad and it wasn't good. However, I found that ... they ended the manga at a really bad place and that leaves you wanting to know more. I wished it was at least 3 chapters..oh well

This manga... I don't really know where to start. I don't usually read these kinds of magas but here goes.
* May contain spoilers...sorry*
The art wasn't to good and the story... scared me, but don't get me wrong...I think i'm crazy but i did like it.

"A girl has sex with a man she met on a chatline. She later learns a dark secret about the man, only to meet him again under less-than-favorable circumstances. This is a short oneshot that will leave you confused and wanting more."
The last line from the paragraph above is so true, also the last line from the manga when she ... realises she loves him is very heartfelt.
"There was no other man that made my heart flutter like that he did."

I found it really funny when she learnt that he was *wanted*. They could of made a happier ending but there was no other option for him.
( Hopefully you understand me more after you read the story)

I guess if your a mature audience and your just looking to pass some time, i think you should read it.

Just a few points to start off this review:
-You can't ask for much more from a 32 page one shot however, I really do wish it was a few more chapters though to let the characters love develop.
-The story was really rushed but extremely cute and the time flew by when reading.
- It is just your typical shoujo manga.

When reading, at times I felt really nervous for the characters because they're really life like and the story is quite reality based. ( I don't know how to explain it)

The art was really good and the main character developed quite a lot ... in the story in such a short time.

If you enjoy romance, shoujo mangas ( that are also a little cheesy) and looking for a short read to simply pass time, this manga should be good for you.

Hidarite no Love Letter contains four really cute one shots. All of them had great endings and were all really sweet. If you like cute and cheesy ( but not too cheesy) romance than this is the perfect quick read for you. Below is a little review about each of the stories.

Story 1: Our Left Hands
I found this stoty really cute. The idea of communicating on their left hands was very sweet. The art in this story was really good and I found it really enjoyable :) (I'm suprised how good the teacher was at throwing chalk, you'll understand me once you've read it)

Story ... 2: Ferris Wheel at Sunset
Tomoko and Kuuto haven't talked to each other in years that being even that they're were best friends as children. To me this story was very predictable but still really sweet. I thought the idea of them just begginnig to talk together again after ten years was rushed, but it is a one shot so you can;t blame them.

Story 3: Natural Union
I think this story was my favourite out of the four. A girl misplaces a love letter to a guy that she doesn't know at all! once again a really sweet story.

Chapter 4: Such a Dangerous Distance
To me, this story was a little confusing and extremely weird. I dislike this story the most becuase I found it kinda disturbing. She fell in love with the guy so fast! I hope you agree with me when you read it. Oh, well that's my opinion.
