Thanks I hated it.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but if you are interested in the plot, the best way to watch this anime is to start with ep 1-3, then skip right to ep 10-12 lol.
You really don't miss out on anything and bonus - you get to skip all the abuse, sex trafficking and r*pe of minors!
There might be some unknown female characters but they don't really have personalities other than being in love with Lugh (the MC) and their backstories aren't important or worth the watch.
Spoilers below:
Characters: All 1 dimensional. The male characters just talks about how
...
amazing Lugh is and all the female characters want to have sex with him (borderline his mum who mentioned something about wanting to see his erect pen*s).
Story: Seriously nothing happens until like ep 10 where you finally think something interesting happens where the episode ends alluding to Dia's betrayal. Rip my hopes, that's not what happens but at least the plot moves forward.
Also, this "assassination" business is laughable. So many moments where I had to look-up the definition of 'assassination' especially where Lugh pops out his magic cannon out of no where and launches a magic bomb thing.
Also the only moderately decent part of the show, being Lugh and Dia's kinda cute relationship also ruined by in ep 11 when we find out they are cousins lol. SWEET HOME ALABAMA.
Art & Music: Art is not bad especially for 2020's anime standards. OST is forgettable but the OP and ED are good.
Overall: Bad don't watch.

As an avid baseball fan and strong supporter of women's baseball (and pretty much any women's sports), this show felt like such as missed opportunity to present the reality of women's baseball in Japan.
Japan's female baseball population is steadily growing in these recent years, where this show would've been perfect to represent what is it to be playing baseball as women (such as having little recognition, low pay if at all even in the highest level competition, etc...). Especially when 2 professional level Japanese baseball clubs have launched their own women's team. Women's baseball is getting more recognition as we speak!!
Instead, this show is
...
pretty much a girl version of a normal (mediocre) men's high school baseball anime, but also kinda sexualised lol.
Anyways, also despite the terrible animation and forgettable music, the show itself is pretty cute and fun.
Theres no twists or any emotional moments, pretty bland but if you stick to the end its pretty satisfying!
With that being said, I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone unless they want something in the background to watch whilst farming for materials in Zelda or something like that.

Akuma no riddle isn't a smart show with in-depth characters or anything like that.
But I still enjoyed it for what it was!
If you're someone like me who enjoys happy endings, yuri and edge, this is a super fun watch.
The drama in the story is pretty straight forward too and the show flows very well, though this also leads to its biggest flaw of being too formulaic, but for a simple brain like mine, I wasn't bothered at all.
The yuri was also very interesting since most of the roomies are definitely fucking, including our main hero Tokaku, who acts like a possessive girlfriend
...
the entire time.
Jokes aside, the most refreshing aspect of the show I thought was our heroine Haru, whose probably the strongest heroine I've ever seen, despite her looking and acting like a super helpless character.
Its kind of like if Madoka, from Madoka Magika, was helping out the magical girls barehand from like episode 1. But with Haru, the whole show.
This creates a surprisingly interesting dynamic between Tokaku and Haru, we see Tokaku vulnerable as hell almost trying to control Haru to hide this vulnerability whilst Haru grants her this validation Tokaku desperately craves for own safety, consciously or unconsciously? Idk.
Anyways, its edgy, fun and has lots of yuri; so much to enjoy!
[Story] 6/10
It's fine. Despite its premise, pretty okay.
[Art] 5/10
Not amazing, just passable.
[Sound] 5/10
It wasn't bad but I can't remember any of it.
[Character] 7/10
Except for the main 2, the super gay ones and the cyborg, they were pretty forgettable.
[Enjoyment] 8/10
I liked its little quirks and the overall coherence in the show. Characters are consistent with their personalities and backstories etc.
[Overall] 7/10
It's not great but still pretty fun. I ended up buying the manga too!

Not gonna lie when I was watching the show the first time I thought it was meh, a lil too edgy for me.
The only reason I kept going was because Satou's (the MC) voice actor was super good and fitting, wanted to keep me hearing her talk lol.
The supporting casts where kinda annoying too, let Sato-chan do her own thing lmfao, was my reaction whilst viewing.
It felt like a super generic, edgy yandere baiting show, but this time it's a lesbian pedophile.
But then I watched the final episode and wow, I was proved entirely wrong.
I was surprised with the kidnapped
...
loli girl (Shio) getting some good character development, I realised the annoying supporting cast's motivations and wished for their happiness.
Initially, I thought the relationship between Sato and Shio was disturbing and manipulative, but as I kept watching, the show developed a pretty genuine bond, making me want to root for their happiness too.
After reflection of the whole series, there are a few plot holes but the ending really covers up the flaws and enhances the past episodes. They obviously still exists but not in a way that disrupts the enjoyment of the show.
I would advise people who are thinking of watching to give it chance. Doesn't matter if you go on your phone, zone out or put it in your background, just keep watching and see how the mess turns out. I really think its worth a watch. The ending was what bumped my score from like a 5 to 8. I was thinking about it for ages.
Arts is okay, music is pretty good. No doubt Sato-chan is the most interesting character, others are a bit annoying but not terrible. Shio is fun and cute too (until the final episodes haha).

This is an anime where you go a few weeks after finishing thinking, "wow that was mediocre".
Initially, the jokes were landing and felt a bit fresh having humour that wasn't superficial or degrading, but teen sex-curiosity talk that would be more familiar with a western audience.
That's pretty much it regarding what I enjoyed. The rest is just the same teen love story you see everywhere lol. The only difference is that people say 'sex' a way lot.
I would add that most of the characters are unlikeable and kinda cringe.
Though you may argue that its more realistic that these teens are kinda cringe, which I
...
do agree but it's really not enjoyable or fun to watch at all.
If that's your thing though, go for it ;)
Art is pretty good but soundtrack is forgettable.

The first few episodes are pretty hard to watch and probably the weakest episodes out of the whole season. It also means it can't get worse.
Again, I only had problems with the first two episodes, the setting lacked creativity and thought.
For example, I didn't get why a Kingdom where slavery is frowned upon still legalises slavery.
The anime is set in a medieval-like era, but their social norms aligns with ours, which really doesn't make sense.
But to be honest, I was only bothered at the start of the season and as you get into the series, it's a show with complex characters and deep bonds.
...
Their interaction all seem natural and I really loved watching the crew spending time and caring for each other.
The author can deliver great character development but has a difficult time perfecting the fantasy world.
Still, I really enjoyed watching the show.
I would recommend if you are able to challenge your own perception of morality.
Finally: Art is pretty okay, the soundtrack is pretty good too.
