I can only write this review in reference to the manga, since I read it before watching this anime. As they say, the book doesn't matter, but here I go anyway.
Yagate Kimi ni Naru is an excellent anime. Here's why I think so.
1. Character development: This is what I look for the most in any anime/manga/novel. Where do the characters start off, and where do they end up? Without giving out too much, the three most important characters of this story all change significantly. It is very satisfying to see as a viewer. What is love, and what should we strive to become in life?

If you could relive a year of high school, how would you spend it?
I have personally never asked this question myself, but this is the premise of ReLife. A rare anime that delivers in most departments. The art is not the best, and this is, I think, the only failing of this series. Faraway shots are especially mediocre. However, the story and character development is excellent. There is also a good balance between funny and serious moments. If you're tired of the recent moe overload, you might like this (although there is plenty to go around here as well).
