I really liked the season finale and it was a shame that they only kissed in the last episode.
In the end, it was fun to watch this anime.
You get involved and attached to the characters and start rooting for them.
Despite having a mini harem, in the end, Junichi was faithful to Yukana and it was cool to follow their journey...

I loved the season finale of The New Gate. The anime is good and I'm looking forward to the second season. I wasn't expecting anything and I was surprised. The New Gate is a very good Isekai style anime that proved to be good throughout the 12 episodes. Shin proved to be a very charismatic protagonist and so did all the other characters. The season finale surprised me a lot and I liked it enough. I'm waiting for the second season if by chance there is a second season. First of all, I would like to make it clear that I am 40 years old and perhaps someone younger might have a different opinion.
I didn't like it, I don't recommend it. The anime is very weak, the script is nonsensical and doesn't explain anything that happens in the plot. Until now, I don't know what led me to watch this anime on Crunchyroll. I don't know if the story is unique and although I like the genre, I didn't like the anime. The art style isn't the best I've ever seen, however, it fits the story. The characters are completely incomplete, full of flaws and they weren't strong ...

Really good. Very fun and with a lot of action. Excellent animation and direction. It's a shame that there won't be more seasons and the anime ended in the first season. The story isn't unique and even so it wasn't predictable and shonen is my favorite genre of anime. It has a wonderful art style that stands out mainly for the characters' powers. I like these more exaggerated blows that fill the screen. The characters are wonderful and Mo-Ri Jin is very charismatic and he has that clumsy way that every protagonist has which reminded me a little of Naruto.
