A children's story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children's story.

A short review because I don't have that many thoughts about this. The reason why I chose to watch this anime in the first place was because this had a Finnish character, though I am interested in other Gundam series.
...
This is an okay anime, nothing great or good; the plot is predictable, many of the 'jokes' and 'funny moments' were way too forced, characters were meh (this is a series for kids with male leads so obviously all of the female characters were extremely badly and lazily written), all in all not that interesting of a show.
I don't hate this show, nor do I think others shouldn't watch it-- I'm obviously not the target audience for this so there's a reason why this just didn't vibe with me. And even though I tend to be lenient when it comes to shows that are meant for kids as they don't need to be extremely convoluted (and you avoid dark subjects), there should be at least good writing. I knew how each episode would end, the motivations of each characters, etc, so there wasn't much enjoyment.

This is going to be a short review so I won't go deeply into each category.
I think this is a good anime; it's not amazing but it's not awful. The art is beautiful, the story is kinda okay, the characters are all great, but what really messes things up for this anime is the pacing.
We start off really slow, almost boring, then in the middle things speed up and become intriguing, yet we go back to slow and normal at the end-- when the resolution of the climax has been done. The last two episodes feel extremely weird; the climax happened already, as did
...
the resolution of the whole mystery, yet the story continues with plots that seem more like side character arcs that should've been put into the middle of the series, not at the end (or at least START those plots either in the beginning or in the middle and have them be resolved at the end of the season).
Also, some of the characters' motivations seem shallow, like they do things for the sake of the plot. But this was an enjoyable anime, and if someone is looking for slice-of-life anime with a side of a small mystery, or if they are into jewels, etc, then they should give this a try.

It's not the most horrendous anime, but it's just bad and boring-- and not the "turn your brain off" kind of stupid, but like actually dumb. There's just literally nothing of value here. So many red flags were ignored and even played as something normal and 'cute'; almost every sexual encounter the two characters have, the black haired one (i don't remember his name) usually said "no" and tried to push the other one off of him, and while something like that can be a kink, it needs to be done between two people who both clearly want it and have discussed about it, and
...
yet it seems like the blond haired man just pushes until the other agrees. Not cool.
I have no idea why this has such a high rating, and why people told me to watch this when I asked for good lgtbqa+ romance anime. But again, this isn't the worst anime ever, it's just extremely boring, and while the story has some potential, the execution is poor, and the characters are like cardboard cutouts. After the first episode I started to skip some scenes because every episode started to repeat the same things, just in different settings, so it felt like the actual plot (what plot? there is no plot in sight!) was going nowhere. I had to spare myself the trouble of finishing this and just drop it because I don't want to waste my time with something like this.
If you like relationships where the other one basically r*pes the other; where the whole relationship is just one pushing for sex while the other tries to decline yet isn't listened to, then I guess you'll enjoy this. Nothing happens here, just 'fade to black' sex since this is a PG anime.

I personally don't like this series, but after I made a friend who likes this, I decided to give it a second chance and watch every season, but man. It's not good, and honestly it's useless to watch this season- you could easily skip to season three.
I don't know why they only made four episodes, but they could've made it work a whole lot better. The ending of season one made it seem that this season would be about the travel to Camelot, but for some reason all of the four episodes are basically just filler. No one gets character development (though they didn't
...
get that in the first season either...), and the only worthwhile story line is between Diane and King since the long-awaited battle between Ban and Meliodas was just clickbait.
Music always slaps though- I truly enjoyed the opening, ending and the background music, and it's one of the only good thing about this anime. I don't mind the art style that much, I actually think it's kinda refreshing to see something different from generic anime style (not that it's a bad thing). And for characters... I don't really care for any of them; Gowther is actually the most interesting one and I hope we get to see more of him.
Overall, I didn't mind watching this since there was only four episodes, but I heavily dislike the tropes and cliches in the story and how they're used, and out of all of the main characters, I only really tolerate like three. This is not a good show; the story and characters are shallow (and have questionable traits and choices), but I will watch the next season because I've already committed.

Yeah... Love Stage!! is okay, and the only way I was able to enjoy it was to consider this as a really bad parody drama. Like, the story is actually interesting, but LS!! has many problematic tropes that unfortunately many BL stories have, and it sucks cause the plot actually has potential.
The characters are stereotypes, not really growing throughout the story, and many of the problematic things they do are laughed off-- this is labeled as comedy, but serious topics shouldn't be just laughed and brushed off.
Art is subjective, so it's not really ''bad'', I just personally don't like it.
I did kinda
...
enjoy the story on the first third of the manga, but as the story progressed and characters didn't change that much, I started to lose my interest.
Overall, it's a 'meh' BL manga, and the only reason why I even read it is because many consider this being one of the series that made BL stories popular -- or something.

I loved everything about Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited. When I first heard about it, it already caught my attention; a mystery comedy following a messy gold hearted police officer and a rich arrogant detective? Count me in!
The story itself really took me by surprise; I wasn't sure if they were have a big main plot since the first few episodes had very different stories in them, but I now realize that it was to get us comfortable with the characters and the world --- while only revealing small hints about the main plot. It will make you question many things; one episode you're sure you
...
know what's going on, but then the next episode proves all of your theories wrong! And what's even more impressive, they make sense! There aren't any big "Wait, is this now a thing?" moments because they show/tell us things that are possible in the world (I realize this doesn't really make sense, but I do not want to spoil even a little bit).
I have to mention the pacing as its own thing here; it's surprisingly good. While at the start it did feel like a completely 180-turn after few episodes when the main plot started advancing, majority (if not all-- it really depends on how each person feels about it) of the show is extremely well paced.
The art and sound are both so good; I'm in love with the opening and ending theme songs, not to mention: just the soundtrack in general has been just amazing.
I'm not gonna say much about the characters; I really loved everyone, and the ones that I did not love, I loved them in "wow, you're a great character for the story" way. Daisuke and Haru are good; both alone and as a duo; they really fit well together with their different personalities because they find common ground to stand on.
I really enjoyed this anime. It did kinda suck that after the first two episodes it had to be delayed few months because of the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. The ending took my by surprise, and I'm sure I will rewatch this anime again just to see if I've missed some clues early on on what's going on. Here's to hoping that they make a second season of this.

This is a fun little side story featuring half of the kids of class 1A. It's nothing amazing, but considering the time that this was released and when I watched it, it was great and brought me enjoyment. Though-- I already knew I was going to like this because I really love My Hero Academia. Getting to see my favorite characters again is always fun.
The plot of this is quite bland, but these two episodes are just filler content, and we're following a rescue training class, so there's not gonna be much excitement or plot twists happening. It was quite predictable plot, but it's
...
not like they're gonna pull a fast one on us, cause again, this is just filler.
There are few issues that I have, but they're mainly just personal preference things like; why is this filler content too placed before the provisional license exam? It's been a long time since season three happened, and I'm sure many would've liked to see filler content of the kids' lives in the dorms instead of another rescue training class. Plus, there's been a lot of character development for certain characters between the aftermath of the summer training camp and where season four ended, so to see the "old" versions of characters was weird. I also would've liked to know how the other half of the class did on the training. There are few other questionable things about this ONA but I consider those things as spoiler so I won't discuss them here.
All in all, fun and short glance of the kids of class 1A, but it was weird that this was set so far back in the timeline.

let's not kid ourselves here lads, this is not a good anime.
The plot of this is anime isn't that good; maybe they told it better in the game, but this anime certainly didn't do a good job of it. It is interesting though and it has a lot of potential but the execution is bad. We're told so much information at the halfway point mark that it feels like they're spoon feeding us all of it cause they didn't bother showing us anything; they didn't even give us any good subtle hints about what is going on - we got information about things that
...
we didn't even thought about wanting to know. We don't get to be enticed and curious about things; the big secret of the main character isn't subtly hinted at all; it was one of the very few things that we were showed instead of told, and they messed that up too by being too obvious about it.
The pacing is truly this anime's biggest flaw. I'm sure that if they had paced this better, even if it meant straying from the game's pacing, this would've been an average anime, but no. The first episodes are fine, they're introducing us to the universe (though not very well; the word building is another big flaw) and to the characters and their relationships, but they're introducing way too many supporting characters at once that it's brings down the enjoyment.
And in my own personal opinion (which this review is), the characters designs are... poor. Some of them are fine and good, and I know this is supposed to be like a futuristic type of world, but the clothing choices of the main and supporting characters do not match at all. They are all from the same country and world, so even though their personal styles maybe different, there should match on some level.
All in all, not a good anime and I didn't really enjoy this cause I got bored halfway through when I realized that it wasn't getting better so I just let it play while I was doing work.

The story is ok, the art is stylized and I actually kinda like it, the MC is fun and the supporting characters are fun too.
But the thing that ruins everything for me is that our main character is a 16 year old high school girl while her love interest, who we are supposed to root for, is the high school janitor and he's 24. That, my friends, is something the law calls "illegal", and I like to call it "gross" and "pe/do". (Also, if you try to justify an adult dating a child with the age of consent in Japan, then 1) you support
...
pe/dos and 2) in many places in Japan the age of consent is 18.) Not to say that that is the only reason why I don't really like Teru's and Kurosaki's relationship; he's extremely toxic towards her, and while this is a comedy manga so it can easily be brushed off, I'm just not here for it.
This could've worked just fine if Teru was a senior (aka 18 years old) and Kurosaki a bit younger, or if this would've been in an university setting, OR if Kurosaki would've been a senior while Teru stayed as a second year student. Literally, any of those and this would've been actually enjoyable.

Don't understand why there are so many great reviews of this anime, this is really just a mediocre anime-- this first season, I mean. I have not yet watched other seasons.
Characters and their developments are meh at best - it's a really slow anime where only few things actually happen, yet they have somehow made 13 episodes of it. Usually shows take the first four episodes to introduce us to the world and to the characters, but Natsume Yuujinchou took the first season to do that. Not to say that I didn't enjoy it- I started to watch this anime because I knew it
...
was going to be easy, slow kind of slice-of-life with demons, and it was exactly what I expected.
There's really nothing much to say about this anime since nothing really happens; we are introduced to the main and support characters. Natsume as the MC is kinda fun, though a bit too slow for my liking, but he is still a good MC; he's not as creepy or pervy as many other MCs, and even though he is pretty apathetic most of the time, it's fun to see it on the main character for once.
Really wished they would've done more with Tanuma since he was very much alike to Natsume, but we get to see so little of him; I hope their friendship develops more in the future seasons.
