I want to like the anime more than the manga... because it reaches more people, and everyone should see how cute the story (of the manga) is. But after 8 episodes and very little progress, I have to say: if you're watching the anime, go on, but overwrite everything you've seen by reading the manga after that... there is waaaaaay more progress with the two main characters, the other characters are actually side-characters and don't appear as often as in the anime - and lets be honest: side characters are filler-characters in every romcom.
The animation quality in HajiGal is also pretty bad, but at least

About the art: I know people who hate 3D anime... I also prefer 2D over 3D, but in this anime, the 3D scenes are well used and the FAGirls look really close to the actual figures from Kotobukiya. The fighting-action scenes that are in 3D, look seriously good too, especially the "transformations". Btw, only the FAGirls are in 3D... the rest of the anime is 2D and looks great too!
The story (so far) isn't anything super special with crazy plot twists, but that's really not the main focus in this anime: it's all about "cute tiny aho girls doing cute tiny aho things". It doesn't ... |
