Absolutely hilarious and I can't think of a manga I thought was more over the top. It goes from 0-100 instantly. If you're looking for a realistic drama, this isn't it, but god it's enjoyable.
If your looking for character development, move along. The characters were very entertaining to say the least. Super predictable though, they take yandere to the next level. Yuno Gasai would even be jealous at their yandere nature.
The art was surprisingly very appealing to me though.
The story is....well it doesn't really evolve in any respect.

This might sound a little critical...
Overly complicated, confusing and, overall a rough adventure for me. While not in essence bad, I did have fun with a bit of it. Lain was a great character in my opinion, however all the other characters seemed.......static. Nothing major really changed between them except for a few instances while Lain changed every episode and was constantly evolving. If you want to understand what's happening, watch it twice. However, the art style is very attractive to me, maybe because it's unique from other anime. 9/10 I'd give it a 5/10 but because there is a lot of hidden depth to it, I'll ... |
