Death note is easily one of the best starter anime/manga to get into Japanese Animation/Manga. With the ending of death note it was a clear cut ending where you pretty much couldn't branch off of it and make a sequel.
Yet that's what this series tries to do and it fails to be death note in every way possible
If I could describe how I felt turning the final page of this one shot it would be:
Disappointed, I don't really know what I was expecting from a one shot. But definitely not that. It wasn't bad but the dialogue could literally put me to sleep.
It brought
...
back some of the least liked and least rememberable characters in the series. Like near. I couldn't care less about near, because he always felt like a way way way worse character than L in every way possible. Yet they made him the main focal point of this manga
Moving on, the plot was pretty average and forgettable, but the abrupt ending caught me off guard and felt like the author had no idea why he made this one shot and had ABSOLUTELY no idea how to end it.
The only thing that is salvageable about this piece of trash that is somehow called a oneshot. Is when near said at the end to the villain "You Adonimable Murderer." Which perfectly sums up this one shot it's an Adonimable waste of my time and your's
TL;DR just don't read it.
