I was reluctant to read this manhwa in the beginning but after a few pages i just couldn't stop reading.

Story: 10/10
The story is about six people with their fates interwoven. The beginning starts off as a typical shoujo plotline would but evolves into something new and original. While fairly predictable at points, it was very beautifully crafted.

Art: 10/10
The art was nice but nothing outstanding. While there wasn't anything particularly extraordinary about it, i liked the way the expressions were drawn because they all fit the personalities of their characters. Some characters ended up looking alike ... but their expressions distinguished them from one another. When one character was kind, their expression would be gentle. if another was arrogant, their face would show them as haughty and condescending. Overall, while the style of the art was not noteworthy, the mangaka got her message across fittingly.

character: 9/10
I ended up loving each of the characters except one which is why the score is a 9/10 although that probably isn't good justification. In the tangled web of love that this story weaves, each character ended up being completely different from one another which was great. Each had a strong personality and are linked by the fact that they dont quite fit into their society as they are. This is the factor that ties all of these misfits together. Furthermore, not one character was completely onesided but all had depth and a story behind them. As the plot progressed, each evolved and changed upon meeting new people. they work towards their goals and discover what they want in life which is the best part about the characters because they are realistic and their experiences are tangible.

enjoyment: 10/10
On this surface this wasn't a particularly outstanding or memorable story but reading it made me feel like I was a part of each character's life, not just like an outsider reading a story far from my own reality. Each character was well done and the story is definitely a must read.

alright so first review ever, bear with me. I thought this manhwa was really fantastic overall although it did have some qualities that made it so-so.

Story: 6
The story had a unique touch to it because it wasn't like a typical fluffy shoujo manga but had darker elements. At points it was pretty predictable but there was also suspense that made it interesting (although overly exaggerated at points). It fell short with Choi Idas inability to stand up for herself throughout the entire story up until the very end when she finally makes a decision that could have been made about ... two chapters in. It was completely incomprehensible to me why she couldn't have just punched Shin Mimi in the face from the start when it was what she wanted to do all along. Granted she had her reasons but in the end that doesn't matter? Maybe she just lacks the ability for coherent thought processing but a lot of her actions seemed contradictory and was very irritating. So maybe its an oversimplification on my part but the reasoning for all the action in the story is irrational and unrealistic.

Art: 10
The art was very beautiful and the best aspect of the manhwa in my opinion. I loved the character design because each one was very distinguishable. Something that irritated me was how there wasn't much variety in the facial expressions of most of the characters. But other than that, I dont have much else to say.

Character: 7
The character development was fairly good and consistent for some characters but for others it was a complete fail. Especially for Shin Mimi who played the role of the typical evil step sister to a fairly tale princess to perfection. Yet, she completely lacked any sort of depth and had no motivation for her actions. People don't act evil just because they are made evil but I guess that's the case with this story. Also, naru's personality was very inconsistent but for the most part it just seems like he always has to go off saving someone. always. Most of the characters fulfilled the typical stereotypes of various characters with very little complexity. not to say that simple characters are bad because beyond all the criticism, the characters were endearing and entertaining which made it a great read.


Enjoyment/Overall (got lazy here): 9
I cant really pinpoint why I loved this story so much, especially since there were so many elements that made me just scoff or roll my eyes but it really was a great story for me. Reading it was really satisfying because the end (although cheesy and typical to a shoujo manga) was fitting for the rest of the story. Especially because after so much turmoil, its everything ends nicely with all loose ends tied up. Really, it isn't a story that's meant to be analyzed deeply but it is simply exciting and makes you smile.
