I decided to read the Naruto manga because I was curious. Many people speak well, and many people speak badly.
One of the first arcs, the Chuunin Exams, I thought it was cool until the Forest of Death. The fights at the end of the exam became more repetitive, I thought it could be both a theoretical and a practical exam. There were almost twenty or more straight fight chapters. This is tiring, but it doesn't nullify the rest of the chapters. But that alone bothered me.
The last arc of the pre-time-skip is the best of all, as it shows the apex of all characters on
...
the journey to save Sasuke Uchiha.
The Konoha Crush, Search for Tsunade and the others I found interesting, but nothing that amazing.
What I thought was strange and bad that everything went by so fast. The author just jumped in time and said: "Naruto and Sakura trained and that's it, they're stronger", he could at least have shown a little process both in training and in the staff in these two and a half years.
Akatsuki was a very interesting idea, because many members are mysterious and each one is introduced one at a time. I think Itachi Uchiha was by far one of my favorites, because he wasn't a character that's evil and that's it, he's just fulfilling his role as an antagonist. I like his way of talking, acting and thinking, like an antagonist or even a villain.
Jiraiya was not a character that captivated me. It was said that he was important and trained Naruto, but I didn't feel anything relevant or real weight in that for me. When I saw that he was dying, I became normal. Will he die? How sad, okay.
I think Jiraiya was supposed to have more screen, for me, he was just a Sennin and that was it. It seems his role in the story was just to train Naruto, be a freak and have a few rolls with a few characters (Nagato, Tsunade) at the end of his character arc. This was my take on the read.
Otherwise, Pain's Attack arc was sensational. The attack on Konoha Village carried weight and it ran deep, both in its ideology and the messages it wanted to convey.
However, I didn't like a small (or big) detail. Nagato wanted to fulfill his objective for years, he sacrificed eternal periods of his life, he made an organization with this foundation, to approach the protagonist, give a speech and he entrusts his plan of years of construction in Naruto. This doesn't make the slightest sense, Naruto even says he didn't know how to give peace to people in the fight.
The art of the manga is impeccable. The lines and layout of the panels are excellent, the author knows how to contrast and draws well on many panels.
It was interesting to read.

It was an excellent season, delivering everything it promised. They took their time, but they managed to release one fascinating episode after another. It ended in the best way, leaving a suspense and curiosity in the end. Everything fit together well.
The only negative element is that sometimes, the scenarios are paralyzed. Whether in a character expression, action or any other scene that takes time to be performed.
The animation, opening, endings and sounds were incredible. The fight scenes were also good, nothing to complain about.
The final episode was the best yet. Nothing disappointed, the studio knew how to deliver everything. With the time taken, this production

What to say about this work?
The premise seems to be quite simple. A boy who wants to become King of the Pirates, but over time, that story is stretched out and made to be continuous, fitting into every other point. Even though some moments are complex, others simple, it's all well done and very attractive.
The world is very well explored. The stories of islands and people are well-constructed projects and are individual elements and quite fun. The mystery around some questions that make you doubt many things is captivating and frightening, where with each step you take in the story, the more you want to
...
know what it is really about.
The author demonstrates an incredible evolution throughout the arcs, something that is enormous at every moment. In many cases there are no holes, but if there is, it will certainly be explained at a certain time in the future. Even having some conveniences in the script, this does not cancel out the fact that the author knows very well how to shape the story of each element in the work and his talent of turning something simple into something absurdly satisfying.
The mysteries addressed around the entire story arouse the interest of those who consume. What is the Lost Century? What are ancient weapons? Who actually governs the World Government? The author leaves many elements in the shadows that he knows in fact, in the narrative and at the right moment, to reveal to people and it all becomes very fascinating and very surprising, even if it is something predictable.
The characters' backgrounds are good and convey the message or symbol that the author wants to pass on to the consumer. All important characters have a past, and it's not the ones that are the same. Each one has its own life story and it is not something that is repetitive but interesting to discover.
There is a critique of the arts. From what it seems, unfortunately, the author does not know very well how to make female characters, and it seems that they are all the same. But to the other artistic elements, they are fantastic and very well elaborated. There are times when the art is memorable and impeccable.
The score for this work is top notch. She manages to present an excellent story, narrative and art. There are some downsides, but I don't think that interferes with or cancels out everything that's good.

The story has topics that throughout the narrative, does not deliver anything that promises. The characters are deplorable. The protagonist is boring, the protagonist's girlfriend is boring, the antagonists are boring (one has lost his sister and wants to become God, but the execution of it all is horrible, and another is just an atheist who questions the whole logic of the clash).
The art is amazing, of course, it's done by the authors of Death Note. But the only good thing about this work are the songs. The opening and closing are exceptional.
But don't expect this story to be a secondary Death Note. The
...
ending is disappointing and completely departs from the initial premise.

I don't know why people judge something bad for simply having a simple story from the others. The work gives you a simple, generic and didactic story and the least original possible. However, it delivers what the reader expects, and the author does it very well.
The work has positives and negatives. The villain is below average, and all villains have the same past: they had a human life that was spoiled or they were sad people. It all looks the same and the ending was extremely rushed. There is nothing special that the story differs from the others.
The story arcs aren't compact or strong and
...
they all seem to have the same narrative element, from every shounen recipe. But luckily it lives up to what it promises.
In my opinion, the characters weren't developed in time and they had good potential to be something good, but unfortunately the author didn't do that and the end of the story was extremely rushed.
The art is good, but at times it doesn't seem to have been very dedicated. The author has great potential in writing a better story. I think he didn't have the opportunity because his work was very successful.

It's a bad story, if it really has a story. It seems that all events are the same as the others. It is torture pornography and many times there is rape in moments that are not necessary or simply have no reason, the character only does it because he wants to, for no reason at all.
Also, the romance in this story is depressing. I read almost a hundred chapters expecting something futile or good, but all of them are just some silly chases from those who bully the protagonist, they grow up to be bad people, and then they are tortured and then killed. It
...
doesn't make any sense.
If you want to expect a very well done horror story, don't read it, because the first chapter gives you a huge expectation, but that is lost... now if you just want to see a meaningless story of a protagonist who suffered in the past and wants to kill everyone who hurt him, and even these arcs don't have any good narratives and just play and mess up anyway, read.

A manga that focuses a lot on the characters, their relationships and expressions. Even with some inconveniences, it has positive points that add a lot to the grade I'm giving. In the course of the story the protagonist tries to discover himself and what he really should do. The story and art are bold, and it keeps a good pace through every chapter. He's good at what he offers, and he wasn't meant to be something very good among the rest. He delivers what he promises.
The characters were well rounded and fulfilled their role in the story. They react to events in a very realistic
...
and didactic way, as the story focuses a lot on expressions and reactions.
I think everyone should read this work. But don't expect anything grand or amazing. It's a story to make you think or analyze the thoughts of others who live in a post-apocalyptic world and follow the story of the main characters.

I've wanted to read the Death Note manga for a long time. With a very elegant and beautiful art, from the first chapters I had more desire to read. It's an excellent story, with an incredible pace, and also with good characters. The battle of minds between Light and L is good on every page and chapter, with an impeccable plot that leaves us in doubt who will win the battle (of course, if you didn't take spoilers). Although I didn't like L's death, I think the anime should have ended in L's saga and not continued. With the saga of Near and Mello, things
...
got a little wrong. It wasn't that interesting for me, but I manage to swallow it somehow.
But I'm glad to say that my favorite character is L, he has a lot of charisma and is well done in the story. Undoubtedly Death Note was worth reading, for the quality of the arts, drawings, rhythm, characters, story and much more.
