Dude what to say about this sequel....
We all know that ikkitousen are not exactly the anime that you watch because of the story lets be honest, but still the themes that the anime have are no doubtly interesting if you like the story about the warriors of ancient China.
But the problem is, the plot here is sliced as much as they could, as i had said ikkitousen does not have that much of complex plot, and they cut even more to fit this ova format, and all this to have a such open ending that really leaves you hanging....really hope for a sequel but what
...
was cut will be hard to recover.
About the new characters they were a decent addiction to the plot and they could be good side characters if they had more time/development but well.....they took a hard decision at the end, it was understandable but i still don't think it was a good decision if you ask me.
Animation wise its as others had said, probably the best ikkitousen had until now, but well in a 3-ova format is what you should expect i think, but still good.
About the sound it is the same for me as it was for the other ovas like western wolves, not bad but not great too.
Its a shame that we don't have another TV series, there were enough material for it, the end would still be open but it would make way more sense without the cut material, but well, its still ikkitousen so it was somewhat fun.

Well finally i have watched this movie and compensated for the wait in my view, it has fun, and in the same time have more serious discussions between the characters, that's a new thing in this aikatsu! in comparison to the old one that was much lighter, if you are a fan of this series or just watch, you have to see this, only 1 hour but very interesting. And just for mention I'am not from a english country so maybe this wil have so much mistakes, but atleast will be legible for you guys.

common than aikatsu at first, but after a while we had its difference, which was a certain drama until, which generated good discussions about the reality of being an idol that has difficult decisions, of course it is not a great plot but for the theme of the series it fits perfectly and becomes a lot of fun to watch, for now aikatsu is not yet to take very seriously, but over time I see some chance of ending up having the moment when we will need it and This really makes a good differential with the previous series that did not have that emotion.

One thing I've come to realize is that the animation of aikatsu is improving a lot over time to the point of being notorious, I'm not talking about improving with the years, but rather that they are investing more in the CG itself has no comparison the current compared to the previous series, and in just a few years there was not all this change, or confirming what I said, but talking about the film he was great and the animation itself was well detailed, more so than normal because it is a movie , So here should not have problems who see, more and more they are hitting the design too, which used to have some cons.

Well we are talking about aikatsu, in a matter of music is very subjective of each one even I do not like all the songs, but this particular movie has put together several songs that I liked along with a good choreography and osts that managed to catch the right moment of Scene, for this reason I do not think this will disappoint anyone in this aspect of the movie (and I do not even think the series will disappoint, just to mention it here).

Although it does not seem like a really real drama and a little forced, I can say it was very well executed, it is quite unbelievable that it worked out in a series like aikatsu, it usually had a good tendency to get really bad but luckily There was also the entrance of some interesting characters who were of important help in the protagonist in the film, so much that I would like to review them one day in the main series. So basically, although the drama seemed a bit forced at first, it was well executed and we had the entrance of characters that did not only serve to support but the most important construction of the decisions of the protagonist in some points, so the film must satisfy also here, but This was my interpretation, I believe that it depends a lot on who sees the movie.

Well has a aikatsu fan i really liked this movie, he maybe have some misses but there are more hits than mistakes, and even the fact that i see this movie in raw format i get the entire context of the film ( my japanese skills are not that high thought only for mention), well i think if you like aikatsu this movie will be really fun for you, but i atleast will say, the first movie of aikatsu in the other series are better than this, so not get that hyped if you are going to watch.

Well i have said everything that i think about the movie, sorry for my bad english i am really trying to get better in this years, and i just expect that this movie reach atleast an 7.2 in this score, for me it deserves it, but its not that a great thing to do hahahaha, maybe i an just a fanboy of this series even i do not know for sure XD

My first review here in the MAL after more than 2 years, let's see what will come out, sorry for my bad english sometimes, its not my primary language.
And sorry for not a lot of content, I did not see reason to talk much of this anime, it was just too average for me to talky much about it, even more in my first review.
What to say about this anime? I certainly had hype for it, A-1 pictures maybe its not the best studio, but some of his works are excellent, atleast in animation, like SAO and shigatsu....but this had one of the worst I've

ever seen, but this don't make this the worse anime that i had watched, i will explain why.
Story: 6/10
I can not deny that the principle was so much cliche, but i can say that as some interesting plots, and author did some interesting decisions at first to your charachters, but only this don't make all, we can not ignore the many holes in the plot that this anime have, so I rate this anime as an interesting premise, but poorly executed, but at least tried to intrigue with some mysteries, so for me is something ok
Art: 3/10
Man as I explained in the introduction, the animation of this show are the worse that i've attended this year, so much inconsistency in all, mainly in the character designs, which ridiculously deformed, out that the action scenes were cut to save frames ...why you do this A-1...usually you save good scenes for important scenes, but this show in animation are bad in everything.

Well atleast we have some good characters in the show they nevertheless have some development, the anime it seems has been divided into steps to introduce the characters, this i liked, because we have some episodes just to develop them, atleast the anime hit it, not to mention that we had a good diversity of personalities that help us to at least get sympathy for someone. So for me we have some good characters with an with an average ~ good development.
Sound: 8.5/10
The better thing in the entire anime, here there is nothing to complain,since they hired Claris, Garnidélia and Lisa that are great singers, the only thing I could complain its the use of the osts not always hit the right time, and break times, but nothing that stands out very much in the bad way.
Enjoyment: 7/10
I can say that I enjoyed the anime, he had some tense moments that I really thought interesting despite all the bad liveliest and holes in the script is something that is hard to explain, but at least I can say that passed my time, of course I will not even remember this anime a year from now probably, but i will not say that I regretted to see, was an anime slightly below the average that out throughout season.
Overall: 6/10
Qualidea code is not bad as many speak, and not too good with some can defend, its just really a shame the anime had not a good animation/better adaptation, because in my eyes this anime had the potential and it certainly was not well used, a waste ...
2022/6/01 Edit: Dude now i see how broken my english was hahaha...did some edits but still keep many errors for me to remmember these times.
