These two anime are similar in the aspect of supernatural, spirituality, and the growth of the characters due to those things. They both have a boy that meets a girl with supernatural powers and each affects one another somehow.

...then you might like Kyoukai no Kanata add

Both have spiritual ability to fight off youkai/youma and fight with some level of a sword. Also both belong to some tribe/group that trains and has spiritual power.

If you liked Umi Monogatari: Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto add

...then you might like Nagi no Asu kara add

Water plays a large role in both of these series as well as mythology. Both have some level of interaction with character in and outside of the water and the bonds/friendship they may create.

Both are historical type anime that have a focus on samurai. There's a great deal of fighting/action in each. Both have sadistic characters that lead the plot for their own personal gain.

They both have the some level of adventure and a "hero" that they rely on; however, the girls in both series are still strong and are able to stand strong on their own as well.

The undertone of kuroshitsuji is very similar to Arcana. There is comedy in some senses, and a dark power or powers that one or many use. When watching Arcana I see the resemblance to Kuroshitsuji by character interaction and the way the story happens.

These anime are both completely strange with odd characters that come into the picture claiming they are aliens. One likes fish, while the other wears a futon around her. They are both odd.

Both have romance and love. Both stories have some aspect of an issue in the relationship that could cause serious concerns. The romance is very similar as well as the conflicted emotions they are feeling.

Both characters are put under an immense amount of pressure by something terrible happening in their life. They both end up meeting a woman that is much stronger than both of them and the women end up taking care of them. Both the male characters in each story act weak but have to finally step up to the plate, but that doesn't mean they aren't crying about it every step of the way...

Both animes have the same humor level. They are both all over the place with their stories and have something to do with aliens or weird different species. The are both unique in the sense of their stories, they make fun of odd things and have a lot of similarities.

I feel the same about these two the humor offered in both is the same. They are both based on alien creatures and the story picks up and takes off from there.

The two are very similar in the way that there is a governmental force or a force of a higher individual trying to manipulate or take over. There is conspiracy theory in both and there is a certain level of action. Both of the main characters have people that become fond of them and help them in some manner.

Both anime deal with vampires and romance on some level. Both are at a school setting. Vampire Knight and Fortune both have some level of mystery to them as well. If you like one you'll def. like the other.

Basilisk is a sad story of two lovers that cannot be together while Katanagatari is very similar in this aspect. In Katanagatari the lead girl character has a hard time falling in love because she is on a mission of revenge. They both have adventure, romance and sadness, and a good storyline that you will never forget.
