Gunslinger Girl is one of those animes that don't come around very often that the characters themselves make the whole story that made me find GG so moving. During the story you learn a little bit about each character and the organization they belong to along with the handlers perspective of life. Its hard to tell if these girls are being used considering they arent even considered human by some of the handlers. Blood+ is one of my favorite animes and favorite tragic love story. Like a lot of story's it started off with a normal girl turning into a monster killer, but Its a lot more than that. The plot is brilliant and kept me on edge the of my seat whole time and made me want more. The main characters suffer more than enough of tragedy in their life and makes the best of what they got. Im going to start off with the flaws in this anime. First off im definitely with everyone one else in saying that the art is terrible! I have seen worse, for example shin chan....but obviously they did it to be funny. To me the artist made me feel that maybe they thought beauty for them was in the lips and eyes. Doing so made the men look girly and throwing the main characters into chibi form all the time upset me and makes me think it wasn't out of comedy, but purely laziness! When I started watching ghost hound I was drawn in by something. I immediately thought to turn it off because I found it boring and somewhat pointless, but what drew me to watch more was the scare factor. The sounds on the show were horrifying and they knew just the right way to get the audience attention. The plot was so scattered that its quite hard to explain what the story was about. Out of all the animes Ive seen, this is truly one of its kind! From the first episode I thought to myself just one word....Amazing!!! The story line is alot like most zombie movies but truly distinct's itself from the others. I love scary movies and when I was first referred to this anime I was really in awww :)
The art is fair and the characters look pretty good, the only down side about this show is they tend to focus on boobs bouncing and ass shots, which get to be some what annoying. Overall I'm really happy with this show and I give it ... |
