The overall atmosphere of the series is very alike. Most of all because the characters of Manaka and Menma seem very similar, and both of them have a friend who always cares about them (Hikari and Jinta respectively). Both series are about a group of friends who spend time together.

If you liked Ergo Proxy add

...then you might like Ibara no Ou add

Equally confusing and overdone ending. Just before the ending you really start to admire the movie/series but once the ending comes, it turned out you didn't knew anything and still don't know anything. And also the vision of the end of world.

If you liked Deadman Wonderland add

...then you might like Togainu no Chi add

Excentric psycho puts people in his violnent game. People are dying all the time and blood constantly splatters. Both anime are very violent. Protagonists are part of the game but they do not like fighting. Even openings are somehow similar. The biggest difference (hopefully) is that Togainu no Chi failed as an animation, Deadman Wonderland on the other hand has amazing and well-done animation.

The feel about series is similar, both are quite dark, but feature some comedy. Also, again some group of humans vs. demons, special powers, hell gates (or rather equivalents), etc.
