Put simply, both series share a very similar atmosphere. They also have the same style of implementation, and the same type of villains.

If you liked Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu add

...then you might like Weiß Survive add

Similar style of randomness and humor, based around a game. The only difference is Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is much more developed, with more characters and a better setting, and Weiss Survive episodes are really short.

If you liked Great Teacher Onizuka add

...then you might like Hajime no Ippo add

Although the stories are completely different, the style of comedy and animation are quite similar.

Apart from the main characters being completely random, both series having re-occurring characters and a similar style of humor, there are not too many similarities. However, if you like either of these series, your almost guaranteed to love the other! Both start out fairly slow, so watch at least the first 5 episodes and you WILL be hooked.

...then you might like Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho add

Almost exactly the same. Same style tourney for first major arc... Same style characters (1 main, 1 strong, 1 dumb/gutsy, 1 tactical.) Many more, basically everything except the fact that in flame of recca the guy didn't get hit by a car in the first episode... and they don't use spirit energy. Must watch.
