That was surprisngly good. I didnt expect much from this anime, I was only after the bishies but twists and the ending is actually better than most "shoujo romance" animes. I haven't played any dating simulation game but this anime gave me a very good "view" into the game. Im actually very interested in playing it now.
In most reverse harem manga/anime, I always tend to have some sort of dissatisfaction regarding the main male character, in this case, Ukyo's sacrifice really touched me and his willingness to endure so much pain and suffering really proved that he has the greatest love for the girl. I'm
...
really glad that (spoiler alert) he's the main character's true and original bf. Its pretty obvious that the girl will pick Ukyo's world (or at least, thats what it seemed to me), my only wish is to have another episode just to see them happy together and to see how the main character acts when she have her memories with her.
Though there were boring and dull moments in this anime it had a really nice ending. I think that a decent story, though with stereotype characters, and yet had a good twist and ending, deserves a 7 noh?

Quite a decent anime. Has some potential but the pacing is too slow and characters are lifeless. There are scenes that made me wanna skip, and sometimes I would check if the episodes is nearly finished. I managed to bear through it wondering how it would end. At the end of a series, one would usually feel either "ecstatic" or "disappointed" but when I finished this, I didn't feel anything at all despite THAT ending. The ending raised more questions than clear up things. I can understand that they are aiming for a cliffhanger probably in prep for season 2, but would it hurt to
...
answer some very basic mysteries of the series?
In terms of the characters, they are dull and boring. I didnt feel any connection to anyone at all. The cat girl annoyed me. Its irritating for something cute to act overly cute. Its like candy with too much sugar. Also I was hoping that Kusanagi would do something 'spectacular' but no, he just stood around and 'looked cool' til the end. Now shiro is a type of character that you would neither like nor dislike. he's just "ok" I guess. Not outstanding should describe him perfectly. Kuro is fine but I feel like he's a stereotype long haired stoic character. Someone like Kanda Yuu from D.Grayman. I've seen a lot of his types, so far he doesn't have any unique characteristic to set him ABOVE the others. In the end, Mikoto is the sole character I deem memorable in this series though he's pretty much stereotype himself.
the plus side is:
1. Bishies
2. Do i detect shonen-ai hints?
3. Mystery factor is what kept me going - the ending disappointed me though, it wasn't because it was a sad ending, but because, despite having "such" an ending, I remained unaffected and detached from the characters and storyline. Still, I'm looking forward to watch the second season hoping to see developments from the story.

I watched the KKM tv series about 2 or 3 yrs ago. I didn't know anything about a 3rd season up until now. Im writing this review just after I finished watching season 3 of KKM. Im not even sure if I'm complaining or praising it, I'll just write however I feel and anything that comes to mind:
The action sucks, plot is ridiculous most of the times but its no less enjoyable than others! You can't help but feel warm and fluffy inside while watching this anime. I've seen a lot of anime with better storyline, art, plot but not all of them can
...
affect a person's emotion. I think that what makes it possible are the characters. I'm not an expert when it comes to analyzing stories but I think that the characters in this anime are well designed. Not in terms of appearance but in personality and background story. I felt genuinely sad for the character Geneus despite being a villain. For Saralegui, i felt irritation at the same time sympathy but regardless he's one of my most favorite character in this series! Also, I'm not a fan of pure, naive characters since most of them are just dumb and helpless, but Yuuri is an exception. He doesnt waver. He stands his ground and most importantly he fights for what he believes in. Yuuri is truly PURE. regarding the shonen ai department, theres completely NO development but I dont feel disappointed at all.
To summarize, the story revolves around loyalty, trust and friendship. Its worth watching and I plan to rewatch the whole anime in the near future!
Best episode: episode 25, when the 10 nobles and yuuri played "shinou'ed away"... I somewhat felt proud for yuuri :)

Ive seen this anime more than a couple times and I still cant get enough of it! Its one of the only "shoujo" anime/manga I can bear watching/reading without getting annoyed at the characters. In fact, this is the ONLY shoujo manga/anime where ALL the characters are loveble! Seriously, the story might seem idiotic sometimes but its actually deeper than what it seems. Most people overlook these things and tend to favor this series only because they think its funny. It kinda makes me feel frustrated. For instance most people do not notice how abstract the characters of OHSHC are. Like for example, the conflicted

characters of Hitachin brothers, Kyouya's suppressed talent, Tamaki's kindness and real purpose behind his idiotic behavior, and theres soooo much more. This anime/manga reminds me of a THESIS PREPARED WITH A GOOD DEFENSE. lol.^^ really, all i wanted to say is
I LOVE OURAN! wish I could shake hatori bisco's hand for providing us such a great series!^^/
