Both main characters end up in a school where they literally can't do what the students are supposed to be able to do (e.g. magic). Both characters are very naive and inhumanly good at one particular thing (Mashle - being strong; Iruma - dodging). Although they have a huge handicap in their way, they both somehow manage to fool everyone into thinking they belong.
