...then you might like Kai Byoui Ramune add

Both series have an experienced MC training an apprentice MC. In both, the experienced MC is an expert at magical techniques. xxxHOLiC is set in a shop, and Kai Byoui Ramune is set in a clinic, but the nature of their clients remains essentially the same. Kai Byoui Ramune has more outlandish disorders, but nevertheless, just like with xxxHOLiC, the clients have emotional problems like not being honest with themselves, ignoring their own feelings, playing with the feelings of other people, etc. This one is personal, but by around episode 10, in both cases, I started finding the series formulaic and tiresome.

If you liked Nodame Cantabile add

...then you might like Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso add

Both series are classical-music themed. Both have animations that are accurate representations of how the instruments are played. While Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso has middle-school level protagonists, Nodame Cantabile has university-level protagonists.
