Great anime and 100% worth the watch however I wouldn't call it a masterpiece.
The first 6 episodes follows the original (source material) manga. The story, plot and animation is well designed and easy to follow. While the animation might not be for everyone, I personally loved it, the sound quality was a nice touch which gave the overall setting a real impact.

I quite enjoyed the art style of this anime, it's definitely different, it may not be for everyone but I praise artists for trying something new. Gibiate started off with a strong story presence with interesting characters and a new style of art but quickly galled off short.
I loved the idea of mixing the past to present with a time travel vibe to it, going into a new world with a new threat, but easily after the 3rd or 4th episode it feels like this anime is lacking to bring that cliffhanger moment.
