Plot/story 9/10
The story is based around Akko Kagari, a young girl who wants to become a witch like her idol Shinning Chariot, even though she has no witch blood in her. Akko is on her way to Luna Nova Witch Academia. During her stay at Luna Nova, Akko befriends 2 students, Lotte, and Sucy. The episodes progress well to meet the plot, but there were a few things that didn’t quite fit or kind of just jumped out. The overall story was well written and left behind a great and deeper meaning.

Art 8/10
Visually it looks very good for the most part, but the characters with ... the exception of Sucy look very similar in size and body shape. The background drawings are well detailed and drawn. It is very well animated.

Sound 9/10
The soundtrack is mainly made up of instrumental piece, that are very beautifully played. In my opinion the ending and opening themes we slightly slow, but fit very well with the story.
The voice acting for both sub and dub was very good.

Character 9/10
The characters are amazing and very likeable in their own ways. Akko is an amazing female lead.
She's a very energetic and determined girl who wants to achieve her dreams despite her being an ordinary girl with no witch blood, she also has great character development, especially in the second half. Sucy is unsociable, and very sarcastic and likes to use Akko for her experiments, but I feel she should have gotten more screen time in the second half along with character development. Lotte is very likeable and probably my favorite character, she is very nerdy, and helpful to Akko, but along with Sucy I wish she had more screen time, and character development. Diana is a very serious witch from an extensive line of witches, but unlike Sucy and Lotte, Diana had great character development. There are a few other minor characters, that still had very good roles.

Enjoyment 9/10
I really enjoyed this anime even though it wasn’t my typical anime. For me Little Witch Academia held a greater meaning than what jus meets the eye. While there were a few things that I didn’t quite like with the audio and visual, the characters were great and really pushed the story along. Overall, I found Little Witch Academia very enjoyable. I give it an 8.9/10
