It's a simple story really, but what makes a story is the journey getting to the end. I enjoy the story more than others because it hits close to home. Growing up and being through what MC had been, it gives me a "what could have been" vibe all around.
Art wise, it's surprisingly good for an older manga. At first, it was a pain to see because it's blurry and a bit jumbled up. Eventually, it grew on me and I like how the characters are drawn. No ecchi stuff, no nonsense. The characters are rather pure and how'd you expect for people living in
...
the village side. Character development is good too, the MC grows a pair of balls and admits that he's been running away all this time.
Like I said, the story is decent but the journey there was amazing. It may be because of the nostalgic feel for me but I personally enjoy stories that give hope and courage to readers. It slightly inspires me to push forward and think about my plans for the future, so it's rather revealing to me.
All in all, I'm giving it a 9, purely based off the nostalgia and hope that I've gotten. It's very vanilla with a few heated moments here and there, though the ending does seem a bit rushed, but that was expected since the story fell flat at one point. But I like it. If you like nostalgia too or are having problems with studies, whether you're a student who's confused or an adult filled with regrets, this one's for you.

I was so pumped up to see this in cinemas so I had really high expectations of this, something close to Your Name and A Silent Voice.
Story: 4/10
Story and plot was fucking horrible. The way it progressed, the relevance of some items in the show make you wonder, how do they plan to end this well? Spoiler, they don't. Ending fucking sucks and it's really frustrating. Almost on par with Golden Boy for one of the worst endings ever.
Art: 10/10
Shaft. God damn what beautiful animation. The scenes in the movie reminds me so much of Monogatari, in the sense of how they transition from
...
one scene to another. Characters design are very Shaft like, with their facial expressions, features, their own style. Even in the CG's, the art was superb. Throughout the entire movie, there were only a couple of scenes which could have been done better but overall, this is an art masterpiece.
Sound: 9/10
Sound is great as well. High pitched broken voices, condescending tones, background music, the theme song. What really stood out was singing from the MC. The VA did a really good job.
Character: 7/10
Not much development but I liked it because the characters are very, very Shaft like. Head tilts, designs, models and the such. Heroine looks eerily similar to Senjougahara in her middle school age. They portrayed middle school life really well. Young enough to be kids, old enough to not be brats.
Enjoyment: 7/10
I liked it strictly because of the art style and the music. If you are not a fan of Shaft, or have never seen any Shaft productions before, you're going to have a bad time. The art style, music, transition scenes and character behaviours may be a bit too much for you.

Disclaimer Alert! This is a hentai doujin.
Story: 7/10
I rated it as such since it does have a story. For an anime or manga, it would be too simple and cliche but for a hentai, it's quite ok. Decent even. Spans over 30 chapters but try searching for a site where they scan it by the books.
Art: 7/10
It's by no means comparable to Tachibana Omina sama but it's pretty simple and realistic enough. Biggest bummer is that the censors are the rays of light. Other than that, it does pay detail to all the smaller stuff like sceneries, bottles, horniness and such. Quite decent
...
I must say.
Character: 8/10
Initially thought this was going to be a harem. Unfortunately, it's not. But there are plenty of characters. Each character is different from each other but it still follows the common templates like childhood friend, milf boss and such.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Came for the porn, stayed for the story, then came for the porn again.
Overall: 7/10
It's decent, I'll give you that. It's no Lingua Franca or Harem Time or even Triple HHH but you'd probably enjoy it as one of the better hentai with a plot. If it probably had an animation then it would be better but there's not much I can complain about.

There is a too long, didn't read right at the bottom. Some minor spoilers written in character.
Yes, I am biased. Trinity Seven is one of my top 5 favourite series. I have read the manga (to the latest translations) and seen the anime.
Story: 6/10
It features a different character altogether. The concept is there, but man, it's way too short. 55 minutes is a slap in a face when it's called a movie. The first 5 minutes are a recap, the credits run for like 4 minutes and the ending part half a minute. The ending implies there's more to come, so I won't touch
...
on it much. Read the manga if you want to know what's probably coming next. Anyway, story is same old same old. Pretty predictable. I'd say 30% of the whole "movie" is the fight scene, which is really short. Then again, I've never read this part of the story before in the manga, so I have no idea where the source is from.
Art: 10/10
The anime was somewhat ok, but that was kind of expected, given the manga is still young (only 60 something chapters so far, translated) but they stepped it up in the movie. The art style similarly resembles KyoAni except the eyes. Everything flows really smoothly, the transitions from serious to relaxing is greatly appreciated. Nothing to complain here.
Sound: 10/10
Hm, I did not expect that soundtracks like what they chose would fit in really well. The background music when connecting to their respective archives also make it seem all huzzah and epic. Excellent choices by the animators.
Character: 9/10
Continuation in each person's behaviour. The MC could have been lewder, IMO. Regarding the new character, the character is portaryed and designed according to their background, so no issues there. Voice on point, state of mind on point.
SPOILERS: The WDL could have had more backstory to him but that's fine I guess. Hopefully we learn more in the coming chapters, scenes and movies.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Very little action scenes, that's all I bitch about. I mean, if you are following Trinity Seven, you would definitely enjoy this. For you newcomers, who doesn't like a nice supernatural ecchi harem with a solid story (read the manga), girls for all kinds of tastes and an MC with some actual balls?
Overall: 8/10
I think this is quite high but then again I'm super biased. I am still salty about the length and lack of depth to the story. It definitely did not live up to it's hype, but at least we know there's more to come and it's not dying out like Keijoo (FeelsFuckingBadMan)
TL:DR;
Ecchi harem movie with a simple plot and short screen time. Fanservice and nostalgia galore. If you've never heard of Trinity Seven, the first five minutes has you covered. Good choice if you don't know what to watch while you eat or if you're just entering the beautiful world of "ecchi harem".

So I have been reading some romance seinen and shonen manga and decided that I needed something new. In comes Suzuka, with a rating o 8/10 on MAL, which is quite spectacular. TLDR at the bottom.
Story: 7/10
I give it a simple seven, not too shabby but not the best. It starts off with a school scenario and living in a girl's dorm. Ah, the beginning just screams of ecchi and was hinting towards a harem. Nonetheless, as you progress through the story, it starts to be more mature and focused on relationship issues and less of school. I'd definitely say there is a slice of
...
life factor, but it's very minimal. It's not slice of life heavy, like Hibike Euphonium. The ending was great for me because it's the first manga I've read that has such a twist. I didn't expect they would put the plot in, given the situation and atmosphere of the manga and it's characters. I would score it better but the story is basically what you would expect. After reading a few romances, it's easy to find out who ends up with whom.
Art: 9/10
Keep in mind this manga came out more than 10 years ago. The art, given for that time, is beautiful. If you've read Love Hina, you'd know what I mean. Love Hina had really horrendous art, in my opinion but had a great story. The eyes, facial features, expressions, emotions and even the physical traits of the manga have been done nicely. The toning could be a bit better in some scenes but generally it's quite fitting for the theme of the manga. Also, the colour pages were done very beautifully.
Character: 8/10
Every character is unique, as this is also a slice of life story, mind you. Of course they follow a default template but it would be hard to make a new template altogether. I really like the emotional development of each character. It brilliantly caught my attention on how we human beings act and behave in our daily lives. It's so simple, yet hard to capture the moments. You know, the feeling when you fucked up, the feeling of regret. The characters have done well to mimic people in real life, and to some point, it's a bit scary to me.
Enjoyment: 9/10
Hell yeah. My advice, read the synopsis, then read the manga. Don't look into spoilers, don't worry about reddit threads or discussions with friends. You are much better off reading this without knowing and expecting too much. I am a bit let down that the scenes are predictable, but I guess that's not much anyone can do, seeing how a lot of romance mangas bloomed the past decade.
TLDR: 9/10, but on a personal note I'd rate it 10/10. This is a great manga if you have asked yourself, "What is love?"

This is my first review, so I would like to apologize beforehand if I may have not included/included things that aren't necessary.
Story: 9/10
It's not your typical story per se, but the main theme is there. You would think it would end up a certain way, but there are small twists and they also tried their best to stray from a "typical ending". Basically, the story is based around our more negative emotions, like regret, guilt and of course sadness. I find that the story is very solid, as it's something everybody has been through, or experienced at one point in their life. The scenes are
...
well linked to each other, in the sense that you do not suddenly get "happy" to "sad", but rather the emotion train builds up and cools down, depending on the emotion being portrayed.
Art: 9/10
KyoAni ftw! The scenes are done beautifully. It definitely engrosses the viewer into the environment, making the viewer feel as if the viewer was there. Emotions of the characters are transmitted beautifully through the animation. there are scenes where you can easily tell whether it's sad, it's joyful or even if shit is about to hit the fan. The animation team also paid great details to very little matters, such as remembering to include past events into the future scenes. However, there were a few flaws such as the background not being paid enough attention, but based on the others, in my personal opinion, I can overlook the flaws. Also, the characters are drawn in the very typical KyoAni way, which to me is not bad as it gives of that sense of justification (Oh, they drew it like that, that's just so KyoAni e.g) As expected, nothing less from KyoAni.
Sound: 7/10
The soundtracks for the scene are a bit off as they don't match the story well. Some scenes have beautiful synchronization with the soundtrack, but there are some scenes which play unnecessary music, especially music that does not relate to the theme at all. However, I noticed that the music played in the background is slightly more diverse, as they aren't what you would expect to listen to during times of emotion. I really think they could have done better and incorporated much more proper music to match with the emotion, at the time of the scene.
Character: 8/10
Ah, this was tough to score. The bad first, I would say the characters you could expect were very.... to be expected. As a viewer, you just knew that a certain someone would be a little bitch, and that another person would always be happy. Despite that, I really must applaud the character development of the main heroes. How they progress throughout the story gradually builds up for the big climax at the peak of the movie. The building of each main character was portrayed brilliantly because even as a person existing in the physical world, I could totally relate and understand the feelings and emotions that a certain character was going through.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Wow. Seriously, this is close to Kimi No Na Wa's level of enjoyment, in my opinion. I was at the edge of my seat watching this movie. I laughed, I smiled, I cried and I felt like a piece of shit for feeling too much. Most notably, this is a great movie to relate too as the emotions get across cleanly. During the brighter scenes, you can definitely feel the joy and fuzzy warmth in your heart, while in the darker scenes, you can really feel the tension and despair. This movie played with my heart and my emotion, and damn, did it play with them well.
Overall: 9/10
I would give it a high 8, around 8.7-8.8. I got exactly what I needed, a reality check. It;s just that the feels you would get from watching this movie really comes off because it would be utter bullshit if nobody has ever went through a troubled adolescent, since there are very few people who went through adolescent without any problems really. Solid story line, good characters, fantastic toying of emotions, nice music and soundtracks and also beautiful animation.
TL:DR, this movie definitely screws around with your emotions as it takes you back to your time of adolescence if you are an adult. A great watch if you're feeling troubled, be it love, financially, socially or you're just damaged and broken.
