loved the art.
liked the characters, i love were-beast. but there was no growth.
the story started fine, but then the plot holes started instantly .... it was too rushed as well.

i started out enjoying this manga but then when more and more plot devices wernt used and ignored in places the only reason i kept reading to the finish is cause 10 straight chapters felt like one .... page count wise that would be inaccurate but there was no "chapter breaks" or a feeling of a time frame the entire story felt like it took less than 24-48 hours.


now finally MAL (and ... some other manga resource sites) say that this story was completed but ... WHAT ENDING there was no ending .... Was it dropped we may never know. if you want a complete story that doesn't "end" with a "we will finish this climax later" and then say "the end" don't read it unless you want to feel unsatisfied.

I may have found this after i read Kamisama Hajimemashita. This one is pretty much the opposite end of the point of view. (the main 2 in kami were the fox and the human this one is the tengu and the human) .... I was kinda enjoying it at first but i didn't make it past chapter 20 before i got annoyed at what felt like backwards progress, considering i read kami first.


Lesson of the day Kamisama Hajimemashita or this one do not read both.
if you want to read both start with Black bird.


Also my opinion here but i like Tengu better ... than Youki/Kitsume >>
that's why i actually enjoyed the start of this better than kami.
