Very confusing cultivation levels. In season 1, they say Feng Nu is a Martial Master, and in season 2, Feng Nu just breaks through to Martial Master while training. Sometimes Nian Bing can even fight with Magic Tutors, and sometimes he can barely fight against mere mercenaries. And there is also confusion about Magic Scholar and Magic Tutor, as both sound like "Mó dǎoshī" in Chinese.

I was enjoying the story at first. But later on, it starts to get confusing. At the start of season 2, they suddenly brought up some 7 God Weapons out of nowhere without explaining anything and the next thing we ... know is that Nian Bing is searching for the 7 weapons.

Also, it's annoying how he cannot even deal with some mere mercenaries when he is a Great Mage and can also fight against Magic Tutors, and also how Xue Jing suddenly appears to pester him.
I might still have continued this if the cultivation levels weren't messed up, it just ruined the series for me. I can't see the difference between power levels, so the fights are also boring to me.

But this is just my opinion, there might still be other people who like this series.
