Story: 10
I would like to say this one captured my interest instantly. Kuzu no Honkai gave a very deep storyline on the struggles of one-sided loves. I was able to understand it well, especially because, even as an animated series, it was very realistic. While watching this I was thinking of how this situation actually comes up more often than I had imagined before. Is it really all that bad to create a relationship with an irrelevant person to save yourself from loneliness from being unable to be with the person you love? Is it really just physical intimacy that makes up for that? Is
...
it really love?

Beautiful artwork. I enjoyed how clear the setting was while the characters looked like they were taken directly from the manga. Again, it felt very realistic with how natural the scenery looked in comparison to a bright and colorful one like in many shoujo/shounen.
LOVED the voice actors. Because of how well it was put with their character, I felt like I was able to see the story through their eyes.
LOVED the opening and ending. It fit in almost perfectly with each episode's start and finish.
Overall I am giving this a 10.
Does seem a tad extreme, but I have no other choice. This anime was beautiful and the story was amazing and relatable.
Watch it!!

Although I have not finished the series, I have tremendous respect towards the author/artist. In the beginning, I was looking for mangas in the 'shoujo' tag. After reading so many, it's quite easy to recognize how similar one is to another. I will still continue to enjoy them, but I am very satisfied with this manga. Not only is it unique, it also sends a wonderful message across the readers.
Unfortunately, a lot of younger girls (who are the majority of readers for shoujos) may be suffering from similar situations. And if not, the community showing hierarchy towards those with a 'nicer' appearance over those
...
who may not be considered beautiful may be influencing them to think if they don't please others with their appearance, then they are put last. However, this story can change the view of the readers, and I truly believe it will also make their transition from adolescent to adult a smoother one without having to worry as much about their looks being the reason for gaining friends and trust.
In the end, I give the overall rate a 9. I am very pleased, and I hope you will read or consider reading this manga!

I'm sure my rating for this manga will be, well, maybe too extreme, but I mean it. PikaIchi is one of my favorites so far. At first, I was looking through the romance genre and came across this manga. I thought, why not? Sounds interesting. And it definitely was.
The reason why I give 10/10 for the score is for story, art, and character. The plot is very unique, and I would say it is well done combining both comedy and drama, along with romance.
In terms of the artwork and characteristics, I just love how the characters are drawn. They show a different image from
...
a typical "shy character", and the transformation was amazing. The characters each have their own purpose in the story, and I believe their backgrounds are well portrayed and not at all irrelevant to the story.
In total, I would say this manga is great. 10/10!

So, I'm writing this review as a person who loves Fairy Tail.
Whenever someone asks for a recommendation of a longer anime, I always say Fairy Tail first.
So for those of you who have heard of Fairy Tail, you have probably heard of some negative comments about this anime/manga. I have heard people complain about FT being too similar to other mainstreams, or the story is random... etc.
And I agree to some degree. However, I see this as a positive thing rather than a complaint.
Mashima has already responded that part of this work was inspired by One Piece (also an amazing anime). There is nothing wrong
...
with that. There is no way an anime can be 100% original. "Oh this anime has a character with orange hair, therefore it was copied from Bleach" NO. You're being too picky.
However, it is a very original and unique storyline. For people who only start a bit of Fairy Tail will most likely be confused or say the plot is random, and it may seem so if you only saw parts of it. But this is one of the few over-200-episodes animes that have smaller arcs in the story as a whole, AND works out perfectly. I say this because no matter how many details are mentioned, it always turns out to be somewhat important in the end.
As a summary, all I'm saying is give it a chance. For people who are new to this series, you may find it a waste of time because it is long. But it is definitely worth it once you get further into it and realize all of the details mentioned earlier are very significant. And to those who have watched a good amount and are still unhappy with this, you can definitely have your opinion. But it's a long story because every bit of the plot is so detailed it can't be explained in one chapter. So I definitely recommend Fairy Tail.
