I watched this anime a couple of times years ago and I am recently re-watching it.
This show had loads of memorable scenes, and I have always remembered parts of it. Upon revisiting the anime I found that the animation is pretty janky and that there are a lot of parts where the artists had simplified the shapes of the people in the anime (maybe to save time? not enough budget?). Compared to something that came out in the early 90s like Ranma 1/2, or Lovely Complex that came out around the same time, this series' quality is way shoddy despite being a mid 2000s
