The first anime that had me in withdrawal the longest! T^T
After watching it , I could not watch anything similar for a while! At first, I thought, "Eww, mechas?!? Like Gundam?" but after bearing myself deeper, I slapped myself for doubting.
Code Geass actually makes you care for the characters. The protagonist was executed well; whenever Lelouch came across a dilemma or faced a certain hardship, you really felt his pain and you deeply sympathized with him.
Each and every character is unique and many of the most memorable characters have their dark side and flaws to them. There is no definite good or evil, right
...

Death note's writer Tsugumi Ohba and manga artist Takeshi Obata are geniuses for the formulaton of mystery and the difficult layout of this series! The idea of a notebook combined with the character's brilliance made it a great watch!
Death Note concentrates solely on plot and the pyschological thriller aspect. The plotline was psychologically good. The protagonist turns into an antagonist. A girl is devoted to her feelings rather than killing, and she would die for the one that she loves. Besides that, I think the action is good too. This was one of a kind, hardy and rare story lines that the main characters bent ...

For the critics, Fruit basket was the Funny and the Sad!
Very light drama and little action. But the richness in characters were awesome. This anime not only has a great storyline and humor but also has life lessons. In short, a girl named Tohru come to live in the house of the Sohmas where she discovers herself the family forbidden secret: a curse in which the members turn into animals of the Chinese Zodiac when hugged by the opposite sex. Such empowered sentiment and nostalgic characters exposed in each distinct family member. The favorable humor smartly caused in the inate personalities of the zodiac animals! The anime ... |
