Take this more as a supplement and a warning of sorts.

This manga offers a lot of shorter cases that are interesting about 50/50 while it started so good but with time it's stuck in a rut.

At the start the story keeps going and the mystery and cases are creative and each volume has an interesting novel or TV series or movie that influenced the author.

Later on the story is going nowhere, the reading becomes a drag and it's either 85% filler or a character has a short flashback or another character is added while nothing moves forward. That's why I stopped buying ... the manga, the price increased too but that wasn't even the secondary reason to drop it.

Story doesn't move on, infinite milking mode engaged. Can't even keep the back of the volumes consistent (that was Carlsen over here probably). It is so dragging it's feet that I no longer really care. Since dropping the Manga I watch the anime partially based on lists that mark the filler. The TV series episodes that also stopped dubbing, I watch the original without the filler and STILL there is so little happening in over 1000 episodes. A screaming episode from DBZ moved on more than Detective Conan over the course of 100 episodes. The reason I mention the Anime cause it is nearly identical to the Manga. Movie XYZ every year, also not that good anymore. I'll probably die before this series is done.
Both Manga and Anime increased their Filler-% even more during the pandemic instead of a pause or slowing down a bit.
