this anime is just fine. the tomboy thing is a nice addition to the waifu anime trend. but there is a big problem in this show : Misuzu.

she's the cold "friend" who looks cool and all. she might have a reason for being this cold with everyone. but she's also mean. like really mean, for no reason, and therefore, not cool at all. and EVERYONE (and i mean everyone in the show AND everyone watching the show) seem to like this f**kin b*tch. i don't get it.

in episode 5, we meet Carol's mother, who is Carol but taller, with shorter hair and a stronger accent. ... as soon as Misuzu enters the house and is greeted, Carol notices they have similar hairstyles. Misuzu QUICKLY gets her hair down so they don't look alike. i see that as a "yuck, i don't wanna resemble this idiot". and after that, she's just mean like in every episode, but gets called out by Carol's mother ! and as soon as she has the opportunity to apologize, she just acts rude again to the mother. and the mother is like "oh she so cute" like wtf is going on ??? and anyone getting insulted by this girl is like "she's so cool", like they like it or don't see how bad that person is. if i were the mother i would've kicked her out already. but then Misuzu feels awkward so she urges Tomo, her best friend, to get out of there.

then we meet Misuzu's mother, and she's cold too. but cool ! she's not mean for nothing. Misuzu would be likeable if she was cold and cool like her mother, but she's just cold. and mean.

everytime she's mean, we hear her inner voice saying things like "why do i feel this ? why do i feel like i lost ?" like being the b*tch she is is an actual game. Misuzu: The B*tch: The Game.

people who are mean for NO reason, or those who think it's a game, are garbage. and she's both.


that girl aside, any other character has their own little trait but that's it, no development. i HOPE the next episodes will explain stuff because i just can't get why everyone like that horrible character, but if she stays like this and doesn't die at the end, i don't know why i'm watching.


oh damn, it was supposed to be about a masculine girl being in love with her childhood friend. how can side characters that are THIS BAD take the whole attention ?

5/10 for now

this show is a disgrace for anime and music.
i've never been this disappointed by a music thing, because there is absolutely no decent music to listen to in the whole project.

OH YEAH there was this one OST which sounded exactly like an ending from Blue Exorcist (i hope i'm not the only one to have noticed it)

i couldn't care less for anime characters, they're all dead from the inside and well from the outside they're just the regular mob

so yeah, i'd say 2/10 overall because it's not the actual worst show of all time, but it's soooo bad !!!! and people like this sh*t ?? damn

i'm not into long reviews so imma be short : this is fucking gold

i started watching JJK for its mindblowing animation quality from episode 1, and i couldn't believe that quality would just go on for 24 episodes
the fights choreographies are on point and the (overall) rhythm is absolutely mastered, i felt everything like a SNK episode with huge hype stuff
the plot is not that original i guess, but the whole universe these adorable characters are in is truly fascinating
the art is really detailed and this coupled to the animation quality makes the whole thing absolutely epic, just for the visuals

this is one hell of ... a masterpiece and it gives me hope for the productions to come over the next years

i mean i've watched 3 episodes, yes. but uhhh, i think's that's kinda it.
nothing original in terms of storyline, the artstyle is just the same as 50% of all animes out there, sound placement is ok but star wars lightsabers. yeah. characters are as alive as my shoes and it's a pain to watch.
the only reason i'm giving the overall a 2 out of 10 instead of a 1 is beacause of that ending song. Waiting for the rain. in fact, it's the only reason i wanted to start watching this show, but the whole show isn't worth watching if i just want to ... listen to such a beautiful song.
